This is an exciting time to join the Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service (WCDAS), working for We Are With You alongside our partners; SLaM NHS Trust, St Mungo’s and CDARS.  We are recruiting for a Team Leader to line manage and support the development of recovery workers within our innovative core Battersea service supporting service users across the borough. 

What we’re looking for

We are currently looking for a Team Leader with experience of working within a substance misuse setting to join our expanding service in the London borough of Wandsworth, where we work as a consortium with SLaM NHS Trust, St Mungos and CDARS.  

You will support individual staff with developing their performance in their recovery work, as well as supporting with safeguarding and quality assurance.  This post requires a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently.

The post holder will be required to work closely with the Management Team, helping to deliver services to the highest standards and have the vision and drive to develop our future, the capacity to work with competing demands and tight timescales will be underpinned by a commitment to quality.

About the role

Demonstrable experience of leadership and management skills. 

Passionate about substance misuse and a drive in supporting and developing a team to deliver high quality services in line with the organisational strategy.

You’ll have a strong understanding of performance and safeguarding, as well as experience of coaching and supporting others in these areas.

A self–starter, someone with a drive to develop professionally and to motivate and inspire development in others.

Supporting a team to work remotely in order to provide an effective PSI support to service users and promote staff development and retention.

You will also receive an Inner London Weighting allowance of £2,759.00 per annum (pro-rata if part-time).
