Small coffee producers face very challenging situations. They comprise 60% of the total producers and 40% live under the poverty line. They usually lack access to agricultural education and administration, which could boost their yield and income, and lead towards more sustainable soil practices. Inside Job Coffee CIC aims to fight the misinformation and lack of resources from which small coffee producers struggle.
Inside Job Coffee is a social enterprise that is focused almost exclusively on smallholder’s development, essentially in the agricultural and socio-economical areas. We instruct smallholders about several topics related to the coffee chain of production to allow them to become more competent and productive in the market. Our services are: introduction and training on sustainable agricultural practices, bringing support and integration for smallholders within the Inside job coffee network, and conducting monitoring work and progress to build up their own economic sustainability and independence.
