Senior Services Manager – Domestic Violence 
Central/West London (with travel throughout London)

Our client is a women-only organisation dedicated to helping women cope and recover from experiences of domestic abuse, as well as women who are at risk of offending or with short term sentences to reduce offending.

The Role 

As the Senior Services Manager, you will oversee the quality and delivery of our client's domestic abuse services in Central / West London, including their IDVA and social care projects. 

A key aspect of your role will involve building relationships with commissioner and partner organisations, gaining support for our client’s cause and expanding the charity’s remit into other boroughs.

Working with the CEO and Directors, you will: 

- Influence and support the development of strategic plans to ensure the sustainability, development and delivery of services
- Recruit, develop and manage your team, including first tier managers and their teams 
- Drive and develop existing and new service models 
- Implement quality assurance systems to ensure KPIs and targets are met
- Represent the charity at meetings and presentations  

About You  

To be considered as the Senior Services Manager, you will need:

- Significant experience of strategic planning and operational management at a service manager level and developing and delivering services at senior service management level
- Significant experience of working with women and/or children with a complex range of needs 
- A sound understanding of violence against women and girls, particularly domestic violence and abuse and issues relating to it 
- A good understanding of organisational systems and frameworks, line management and project management
- Knowledge of risk and needs assessment and safety and support planning procedures and how this is delivered in practice
- Knowledge of adult and children safeguarding principles, child abuse and child protection issues and MARAC 
- A relevant qualification (such as management and leadership) with a particular focus on the women’s sector/community and voluntary sector
