As the Administration and Liaison Officer you will be the primary point of contact and the face of the Rugby foodbank for all stakeholders. You will need to have excellent administration and communication skills as you will be our contact point for volunteers, clients, voucher issuing agencies, food and financial donors. In partnership with the Service Delivery Manager, you will guide the development of the foodbank project including its material resources, financial assets, reputation, partnerships and volunteer body.

In the role, you’ll be:
- You’ll be building relationships with a wide range of individuals, community supporters, networks and local groups to fundraise and build awareness of Stonewall Housing’s mission, with a particular focus on Birmingham-based individuals and organisations.
- Working with the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist on community fundraiser stewardship, where you’ll be providing support to individuals and groups fundraising for Stonewall Housing through their own events or running and challenge activities.
- Supporting the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist with refining, developing and implementing our annual programme of Stonewall Housing-led events, including cultivation, stewardship and fundraising events.
- Working with the Development Team to develop Stonewall Housing’s Legacy Giving programme, ‘Over the Rainbow’.
- Supporting the Training Lead by delivering engaging in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops to other organisations and networks across the public and private sectors. You’ll be empowering teams of all sizes to confidently meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people in their staff team or accessing their services. You will receive comprehensive and bespoke Stonewall Housing training in how to best deliver these sessions.
- Supporting the Development Team and the wider organisation by taking part in external panels and speaking engagement opportunities, confidently representing the work of Stonewall Housing.
- Developing new compelling cases for support both for individual donors and for broader fundraising activities.
- Using data and evidence to monitor KPIs and track trends, helping the Development Team make informed decisions.
- Supporting the wider Development Team with the day-to-day running of fundraising, comms, and awareness activity.
Your experience:
· Experience of developing and enacting ambitious strategic plans for a fundraising area (this could be Community Giving, Events, Individual Giving, Corporate Giving, or similar).
· Demonstrable understanding of implementing best practice to fundraising activities.
· A track record of building positive and prosperous relationships with supporters.
· Experience of developing engaging supporter journeys.
Your skills and attributes:
· Confident and enthusiastic public speaker, at both in person or virtual events.
· A creative problem solver with a solutions-focussed outlook.
· Excellent team player who likes to get stuck into new tasks and action groups.

The role will work across both businesses following their partnership agreement in January 2023. About the Team
Amongst other key systems, the ALM team supports two critical CRM solutions which underpin our engagement with both our clients and supporters. We’re also part of the Business Enablement team within Shelter’s Technology & Data (T&D) Department. T&D consists of 30+ people based across the country, with bases in London, Sheffield and Edinburgh and is accountable for developing and leading Shelter’s technology and data strategic priorities and providing a secure infrastructure. The management of data and insight to underpin strategic outcomes, delivery of technology change projects, data governance and provision of support for a range of software, systems and platform tools also fall under T&D’s remit.
About the role
Working as part of a team with a diverse portfolio of skills, as a Dynamics Support Analyst you’ll have plenty of opportunity to deepen your knowledge of our CRM systems, as well as expand into other areas. You’ll be the first point of contact for users seeking assistant with our CRM systems to ensure that they have a seamless experience with troubleshooting, problem resolution and system guidance.
As part of the role, you will also be monitoring and managing the support ticketing system (Zoho ManageEngine), to ensure timely responses and resolution of queries, at times co-ordinating with other teams and taking ownership to deliver a positive outcome for users. You’ll become an expert user of Shelter’s implementations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, assisting in basic configuration and customisation tasks.

About you
To succeed, you’ll need a strong understanding of enterprise-level software (ideally CRM) processes, workflows and data management and the ability to provide first level support to end users. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platforms as a system administrator or expert user. You’ll also need to be detail-oriented ,with a problem-solving mindset and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As comfortable helping to generate regular reports as you are maintaining accurate documentation, prior experience in a customer support or helpdesk role is essential. Part of our Strategy Enablement Directorate, the Data & Insight Team delivers high quality data and database management, administrative services and business insight to the department and other teams across Shelter. Custodians of supporter data for its full life cycle, running through everything we do is a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data quality and embedding a culture of standards, both in terms of compliance and best practice across the department. This is an exciting role within our Data and Insight team. Our Insight Analysts play a key role in defending the right to a safe home, working with complex data and turn it into meaningful insight, trend analysis and forecasting while ensuring our data is fit for purpose. Shelter’s Legal Team provide legal expertise and representation across our Services. You will be part of our National Legal Team and will work closely with our Telephone and Online Advice Service (TOAS) to identify trends in issues experienced by people using the service.
About the role
Your role will be to work within the National Legal Team to support the TOAS team to recognise vulnerable clients who need urgent legal help, at the sharpest end of the housing crisis, struggling to advocate for themselves in appalling housing conditions or stuck in temporary accommodation.
Your role will be to provide legal early intervention to clients and families who have safeguarding concerns.
You will act on a consultancy basis for TOAS and provide advice and legal representation on behalf of the client and/or their family, authorising and arranging temporary accommodation and any associated hardship claims. Should a safeguarding referral be made, you will follow up on those referrals to ensure that the appropriate outcome is achieved.
You will also be supported to work with relevant stakeholders to address systemic matters that contribute to homelessness and advocate for systematic change to break the cycle for other vulnerable clients and their families.
About You
Qualified as a Solicitor, you will have a strong knowledge of housing law and be used to managing your caseload including time recording. You will need to meet the Housing/Debt Supervisor standard and have demonstrable experience in litigation and court advocacy, carry out file reviews and be proactive about your professional development and continuous improvement.

Our Finance Department works as a team of experts to safeguard resources and support decision making across Shelter. We strive to ensure Shelter is financially sustainable in order to achieve our vision of a home for everyone. This particular role sits within the Financial Planning and Analysis team. Rowan Alba works to end homelessness in Edinburgh by providing permanent supported homes and building relationships with individuals in crisis. We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident communicator for the new role of Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager to increase awareness of our work and develop new funding streams from individual, community and corporate partnerships.
You will be a creative, organised and motivated individual with a positive track record in working independently to develop corporate and community funder relationships.
Working alongside our Communications Manager, Trusts and Grants Fundraising Manager and Leadership Team you will develop an engagement strategy to help increase awareness of our work and raise vital funds to support our organisational development including the creation of new permanent homes for individuals with long-term experience of homelessness.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing corporate partners
