As Head of Programmes, you will manage the work of a cross-functional team delivering a programme of grants, research, evaluation, communications, youth involvement and associated activity. You will provide programme leadership, ensuring that this range of activity is aligned to programme objectives and Youth Futures’ overall strategic aims. You will coordinate programme-related work across the organisation, fostering collaboration in pursuit of a shared purpose.
You will make connections to relevant stakeholders and wider debates, positioning Youth Futures as an organisation at the forefront of thinking and practice in your programme area(s). You will work closely with externally-facing colleagues to feed learning and insight from funded programmes into our policy work, employer engagement and public communications. At the heart of the role is management and oversight of a thematic grants programme, ensuring that funded delivery is of high quality and enables Youth Futures to deepen and build the evidence base of what works in youth employment.

Father Hudson’s Care (FHC) is the social care agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. We require an experienced senior manager to lead our Community Projects Department. Suitable candidates will have extensive experience in developing and managing services/projects in a community setting and in management of senior staff. JOB SUMMARY
The Head of Finance will be active in preparing monthly management accounts and commentary for the Senior Management Team.

BUDGETING & REPORTING
- Preparation of annual income and expenditure budgets for the Charity, working collaboratively with Heads of Department and members of SMT.

- Provision of income and expenditure reports, variance analysis and reconciliation of fundraising activities.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, metrics, and commentary.

- Formulate monthly rolling forecast cashflow for the Charity and Trading Company including phased income budget and planned expenditure.
FINANCIAL SYSTEMS CONTROL
- Ensure the organisation operates robust accounting procedures and systems of internal financial control in line with current good practice and legislation.
- Oversee and facilitate the annual external audit but effective liaison with the auditors and preparation of accounts ready for inspection.
- Regular review of access rights and permissions for accounting, banking & HR software systems
- Ensure the Charity works in accordance with Charity SORP, HMRC, Charity Commission Regulations and other relevant bodies’ recommended code of practice.

At WithYou we are looking for a Regional Head of Marketing and Communications (East of England) to join our organisation. This is a part time, fixed term maternity cover position working 30 hours per week until May 2025. The role is home based with regional travel across the East of England (predominately the North East). This is a part time, fixed term maternity cover position working 30 hours per week until May 2025. The role is home based with regional travel across the East of England (predominately the North East). The salary for this role is £52,000 - £58,000 per annum pro rata.

Terms of Appointment
- Permanent position
- Full time, 35 hours per week (some evening/weekend work may be required)

Place of work: Any SMF office (Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle). We operate a hybrid model of work, with flexible days in the office depending on business need and your preferences. Some travel, to other SMF offices and other locations, will occasionally be expected.
Contract and hours: We are looking for the right candidate and while we envisage this being a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) we are very open to part-time, compressed hours or other flexible working arrangements.

About the role

As our Head of Partnerships & Income Development you will own the development and delivery of our income generation strategy so that we can build the partnerships and secure the resources we need to meet these ambitions.
You will primarily be accountable for overseeing and developing our impressive portfolio of corporate funding relationships and partnerships, through which we deliver on our strategic priorities and generate most of our income – currently £3m annually. Main responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and implementing a robust income generation strategy to support and enable the achievement of the SMF's strategic ambitions, setting targets, monitoring and reporting on income performance and supporting accurate forecasts and projections
