We are recruiting for a part time, permanent Student Funding & Outreach Manager to join our Student Recruitment & External Engagement team in West Dean College of Arts & Conservation. This is a job share position and there may be potential for home working.
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic person, with excellent communication skills, to support the Head of Student Recruitment in sourcing funding to support student recruitment and to develop a strategic approach to external engagement with alumni and other stakeholders, to support the promotion of the College’s work and reputation.
Other duties include:
Overseeing the development of a strategic approach to develop, reach and engage a wider audience to the College’s work.
Publicising & advising of student funding options and opportunities as appropriate in order to support recruitment.
Be a member of the College’s Grants and Bursaries Committee and advise the committee on criteria for awards and funding availability as required.
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience of student funding cycles and processes within HE and imparting funding advice to a variety of stakeholders.
This role requires line management experience, and having outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including well-developed negotiation, influencing and networking skills is essential.
Experience of proactively addressing access and inclusivity would be preferable.
