Role overview
WMRSASC has a vacancy for a new and exciting role within our established Advocacy team. The Technology Assisted Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Project Worker will provide support and advocacy to our clients who have been impacted by online abuse.

Main Responsibilities:

- Maintain a current specialist knowledge of online platforms and other technology
- Deliver specialist educational materials to children and young people, as well as external professionals.
- Provide psychosocial and practical support for children and young people who are at risk, or who have experienced Technology assisted CSE.
- Provide practical and emotional support to children and young people and their carers through the criminal justice process.
- Support children and young people to access their rights.
- Support children and young people to access health, education, and other services they require.
- Listen to and accept children and young people for who they are, no matter what issues they might be facing
- Empower children and young people
- Believe children and young people
- Advocate on behalf of children and young people
- Carry out risk and needs assessments and implement risk reduction and protective behaviour strategies.
- Consider and respond to child safeguarding issues when engaging with all children and young people.
- Contribute to projects relevant to the role
- Promote the principles of equal opportunities and anti-oppressive practice.

The post is based in Worcestershire but the post holder may be required to support clients in Herefordshire and must have the ability to travel throughout both counties.
