Westminster, Greater London
£32,000 - £36,000 per year
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

Westminster Befriend a Family (WBAF) is growing and we need an energetic, enthusiastic programme manager to develop and build our Mentoring for Mums programme.  We've recently launched an exciting new programme for refugee and asylum-seeking women and this is a great opportunity to realise its potential at a time when people need us most.

We support women with children aged five and upwards in Westminster and neighbouring boroughs to achieve their potential, tackling social isolation, building confidence and enabling them to make connections that matter.  Powered by volunteers, we provide regular, sustained and goal-focused support through one-to-one mentoring and peer support groups.

We know that more families will need more support in the difficult months to come.  We're looking for a dynamic individual who can take this programme from strength to strength.

With experience in volunteer management, social and family services, you'll enable us to broaden our reach and deepen our engagement, maximising opportunities for the families we work with.

We're a diverse and nimble organisation, committed to equality and inclusion in all of our work, including our team. We aim to build a workforce that reflects the community we serve, and we particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates who are under-represented at this level in our sector.

Please apply online with a cover letter and CV.  We really want to more know about you, so applications without a cover letter won't be considered.
