WFD's programme teams has a vacancy for two Senior Programme Managers (SPMs). The exact portfolio of will be developed to ensure well-balanced role, and aim to reflect personal interests too.

Based in the UK, your role will be to support current and new potential programmes within the regions. These are mostly national programmes but we hope to add some regional programming too.
You will oversee programme implementation, provide guidance to our programme teams in terms of delivery, manage programme quality, impact and budgets, broaden and deepen relationships with partners and donors, and respond to business development opportunities. You will be a senior member of the regional team and will support the Regional Director in providing HQ leadership across the portfolio.
We are looking for a programme manager with experience of leading significant and impactful international development programmes. A background in politics is not a key requirement; however it is essential that you have high level programme management (minimum 4 years’ ) experience.
Occasional overseas travel to support activity implementation and oversee activities as directed maybe required with this position, pending COVID-19 restrictions.
