Job description

We are looking for an experienced administrator, who can play a key role in managing our finances and help us raise vital funds for our work. Enthusiasm, attention to detail and a passion for young people are essential!

This is a new role which is designed to help us move forward with our vision to see the young people of Weston living life to the full!

WCYP started in 1992 as a ministry of the parish church in Weston, Southampton. The project has grown considerably in recent years and is now registered as a separate Christian charity with two key objectives: 

  • promoting the personal, social and educational welfare of young people, and
  • promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ among those young people. 

Your role will be to manage - and report upon - the financial activities of the project and to assist the trustees and project manager with the implementation the charity's fundraising strategy.

Hours: 16 hours per week

The position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
