Job description

Where Next have been support adults with a learning disability within Worcestershire and Warwickshire for 40 years across 5 unique services. 

One such service is Where Next HUB, a unique service for adults with learning disabilities that seeks to support and develop individuals by providing recrational activities at an affordable price. These activities include keep fit sessions and arts and crafts sessions. 

The Where Next HUB has been successful in secure a second round of funding from the National Lottery to build upon the inivative approach it took to engage with people with a learning disability during the pandemic. 

This role is to be a key member of the team and assist in the delivery of successful activites while developing new activities and increasing the reach of Where Next HUB. 

If you have a background in any of the following:

  • Deliverying recreational activities
  • Hosting craft classes
  • Experience of hosting tutorials- physically or online
  • Social Media management 
  • Supporting adults with LD to achieve their goals and assperations or
  • A burning desire to be a positive change in the lives of many

Funding for this role is fixed at 3 years but the aim of this project is to end the 3 years with a sustianable service so there is a possibility for the role to become pernament
