35 hours a week (part time or job share considered)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the Hospice and a commitment to delivering an excellent supporter experience to join our vibrant and dedicated Business Development team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the long-term income development plan at Willen Hospice, supporting the continuing development of our care delivery to patients and families in our communities.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills to equip you in developing partnerships with Solicitors and Will Writers, as well as responding sensitively to individuals who specifically choose to support the Hospice through a gift in their Will.

We are looking for somebody who is well organised and IT literate, with a proactive, can-do attitude and passion and enthusiasm to drive our Legacy engagement and future fundraising opportunities forward.

Whilst previous Legacy/Fundraising knowledge is advantageous; you may have account management experience or sales skills and we can provide you with full training and support to enable you to become an expert in this area of fundraising, if you are willing to learn.

In return for your skills, you can expect to join a professional & supportive team, generous annual leave entitlement starting at 35 days pro rata (inclusive of statutory and bank holidays), free onsite parking, enhanced pension, maternity, adoption and sick pay provision.
