Job description

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is one of the top environmental charities in the UK.  We have a reputation for innovation in both nature conservation and creating new ways for people to benefit from engaging with the natural world.  

As Head of Fundraising and Communications you will develop, lead and drive forward a successful income generation strategy for Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.  The Trust is looking for a dynamic, innovative individual who wants to embrace the challenge of securing a better future for the wildlife and people of Wiltshire and Swindon.

You will be responsible for growing the Trust’s financial resources; increasing membership and raising the Trust’s profile.  You will lead on the development and delivery of a three year integrated Fundraising, Marketing and Communication strategy, while providing support and guidance to your staff, enabling them to maximise opportunities to increase income.

You will bring new insights, techniques and breadth to our income generation.  Your ability and understanding of success in recruiting, retaining and increasing members will play a key role in developing a wider and stronger membership base for the organisation.

You will be an excellent networker and motivator, with the ability to build good relationships with key funders, stakeholders, and partner organisations including regional and national Wildlife Trust staff.   

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) you will support the Chief Executive by taking collective responsibility for the management of the Trust and delivery of the Strategic Plan.  You will share in our success and achievements and help to formulate policy and strategy to guide the Trust’s development.
