About the role and you
We are looking for an experienced communications specialist. This is a new role which has been created to support our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This role will be integral to the success of remotely delivering our peer support programmes for vulnerable women, in addition to shaping our future communications strategy.
You will be a dynamic communications specialist with a proven ability to write creatively and persuasively for different audiences and channels. Experience of managing and updating website and designing communications. Equally important, you must be able to demonstrate your experience of working with beneficiaries to capture their lived experiences to support our learning and ability to influence stakeholders on service improvements.
This role will be best suited to someone who is both a 'doer' and a strategist.
You will share our values and be committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable women with multiple complex needs during pregnancy and those who have survived FGM.
Fixed Term Contract: 6 months. Three to fours days per week. Salary: £30,000 pro rata. Start Date: Immediately.
This role will work closely with vulnerable women, therefore, only female applicants will be considered.
