Passionate about Animal Welfare and committed to listening to and supporting pet and pet owners Wood Green, The Animal's Charity is excited to be expanding its Community Support reach and engagement.

With the mission of preventing the suffering of pets and improving the relationship between pet and pet owners we are delighted to share an opportunity to join our Community Support Team in the role of a Community Engagement Officer (Education).

The Community Engagement Officer (Education) is to offer an active presence in targeted local communities delivering a programme of events, workshops and activities designed to meet the specific needs of audiences across all age groups delivering educational messaging and signposting services with the aim of reaching vulnerable pets and pet owners at an early age.

To be considered you will have significant Animal Welfare experience and basic knowledge of companion animal species and care. Education training or qualifications or a desire for further training in this field is essential. An ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external contacts is essential for the role alongside a confidence in delivering presentations and public speaking.
