Job description

Passionate about Animal Welfare and committed to listening to and supporting pet and pet owners Wood Green, The Animal's Charity is excited to be expanding its Community Support reach and engagement.

With the mission of preventing the suffering of pets and improving the relationship between pet and pet owners we are delighted to share an opportunity to join our Community Support Team in the role of a Community Outreach Officer.

Providing a competitive salary and excellent development opportunities you will help us to achieve our vision where pet and pet owners in need of our help are never turned away.

Utilising existing skills and knowledge in animal welfare and a non-judgmental empathetic approach, our Community Outreach Officers will build and develop relationships with pet owners on an individual and community wide approach to provide a bespoke package of support to both prevent the suffering of pets and to enrich the lives and relationships of both pet and pet owners.

To be considered you will have significant experience in building relationships with external partners and working within diverse communities. An ability to be innovative and problem solve working both independently and as part of a large team is essential alongside an ability to remain optimistic and resilient to emotionally challenging situations.

If you are as passionate about people and animals as we are, then this could be the position for you.
