Community Development Officer
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. We want to see a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. The Trust aims to engage and inspire people about woods and trees to help us meet our vision of creating, restoring and protecting woodland. THE ROLEReconnecting Grantham to its historic landscape is a four year partnership project between the Woodland Trust and the National Trust and is supported by the National lottery Heritage Fund. The project aims to improve access, visitor facilities and community engagement at Londonthorpe Woods and Bellmount (part of Belton House)
The Community Development officer will be responsible for the development and delivery of the community and voluntary elements of the project.
With strong relationship building skills you will develop partnerships with local volunteer and community groups as well as key stakeholders to develop appropriate programmes of activity and engagement.
