The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. We want to see a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. The Trust aims to engage and inspire people about woods and trees to help us meet our vision of creating, restoring and protecting woodland.
We are looking for a Digital Transformation Senior Programme Manager who will be responsible for leading the Technology Project Management teams to deliver technology enabled projects and small changes defined within the organisation’s portfolio. The role will also comprise hiring and developing new team members and taking the lead to deliver multiple projects through multiple project teams; as well as building productive and collaborative relationships across and with external stakeholders and suppliers. The Senior Project Manager will play an important role in contributing to and delivering the Digital Enablement Strategy, working with the Head of Technology Transformation and PMO Manager to ensure that the right projects are worked on at the right time to maximise the impact of change and the Woodland Trust.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience of successfully delivering multiple projects and effectively managing a combination of teams simultaneously in a dynamic digital environment. You will be excellent at building and maintaining productive ongoing relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. You will display resilience and leadership in the face of change and seek to foster a proactive and solution-focussed working culture.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
There’s no other organisation like the Woodland Trust. Whatever you do here you will be supporting our work to protect and enhance woods and trees. In return we recognise and value our people. You'll have our full support, training and opportunities for professional development, along with a contributory pension, life assurance and good holiday entitlement.
