We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Management Accountant to lead on the production of monthly management accounts and assist in the preparation of annual budgets for the Worcester Diocesan Board of Finance. We are a registered charity which manages the financial affairs and holds the assets of the Diocese of Worcester.
You will be an integral part of a small team of five who support the smooth financial operations of the Diocese. You’re efficient and insightful management reporting will play a key part in our strategic planning. This is a busy role in which your proven technical expertise in both financial and management accounting, including statutory accounts preparation, will enable you to hit the ground running. Communication will be key and you will enjoy engaging with a wide range of people including volunteers, acting with integrity at all times and with empathy for the Christian faith.
You will need:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
- A strong knowledge of Charity accounting
- The ability to provide non-accountants with useful and meaningful financial information.
