UK Senior Database Support Officer – The Role
Join us and you will be part of a team of experts in database management who use technology to support our busy fundraising, campaigning and supporter care teams.
Your role will be to maintain and develop processes around the technology used to support the UK office teams work. You will ensure our core databases (Raiser’s Edge – fundraising and campaigning and Salesforce – supporter care) contain accurate supporter data by processing in a timely and accurate manner all imports of data files. You will make sure they are GDPR and HMRC compliant too. You will also oversee third party suppliers; trouble shoot problems and deliver training to new users.
Important will be the ability to work with colleagues to develop new solutions for new projects or identify improvements for existing work to enhance overall performance.
UK Senior Database Support Officer – Requirements
- Strong understanding of database logic and demonstrable skill at using front end importing, exporting and reporting functions
- Experience of improving processes
- Experience of supporting a SQL CRM and Access and/or Excel
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce
- Knowledge of GDPR, the Data Protection Act and Gift Aid in relation to UK fundraising
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Able to prioritise workload
