About Us:

Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting is the world’s only movement for every girl and any girl because we believe that each of them deserves to be the best they can be. In safe, local spaces, girls develop the skills and attitudes to change themselves, their communities and our world.

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts across the world have used these skills to achieve exceptional things. From Rwanda to California, they have changed law to end female genital mutilation, engaged in humanitarian relief efforts in refugee camps and fought for a new bill to ban plastic straws.

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) supports Member Organisations in 150 countries to help 10 million girls to achieve their full potential.
