Job Description

5 billion of the world's 7 billon people do not have access to safe, affordable, timely surgery and anaesthesia. 17 million people die each year from surgically treatable conditions (that's more than 4 times the number who die from HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria combined).

There can be no safe surgery without safe anaesthesia...

Join a small, dynamic and growing global health organisation that is focused on ensuring universal access to safe anaesthesia and influencing the global health agenda.

Working across communications and advocacy the successful candidate will work to highlight the role of anaesthesia and surgery in achieving SDG 3 and the goal of Universal Health Coverage by 2030 (UHC 2030).

With the World Congress of Anaesthesiologists bringing together over 6,000 doctors and other clinicians and influencers in September 2020 in Prague this is a particularly exciting time to join the WFSA.
