HRIS Specialist

£35,300 - £38,500pa

Living Planet Centre Woking, Surrey

How better to use your in-depth understanding of HRIS applications than in maintaining, developing and administrating the HRIS platform for the world’s leading independent conservation organisation?

We are determined to ensure that people and nature can thrive together, for generations to come. You could be part of the team working to make this happen. We are looking for an HRIS Specialist to act as an expert in the delivery and maintenance of our SagePeople system whilst providing an effective service to our users globally.

We will look to you to perform the configuration and the maintenance of the HRIS platform to meet customer requirements, including custom reports and Dashboards. You will document system configuration and application enhancements as well as user guidelines. It will be crucial to be able to ensure user licenses are compliant to license management and security policies. You will also support end-users on a day-to-day basis with the use of Salesforce or related apps. You will be the ‘go-to’ person to escalate issues with the Sage support team too. In addition, you will keep up to date with releases, evaluate new features and functionality, and oversee their roll out and adoption when necessary.

You must have extensive experience working on a Human Resource Information System in a multicultural environment. You will possess expertise in administering a SagePeople or Salesforce platform, preferably in the NGO sector. You will have an in-depth knowledge of databases, objects, fields and the underlying architecture of the software and how individual changes affect one another.
Able to think through workflows, you possess a logical and process-oriented mindset and the capability to understand business requirements. Comfortable influencing stakeholders, you will be an excellent communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills. Good at operating as part of a team or independently you will enjoy working to tight deadlines and solving problems. Project management experience would be a plus.
