Digital Community Executive
Fixed Term Contract
Living Planet Centre, Woking GU21 4LL
2020 is set to be the year we put nature, food and climate on the map. The year we secure action and commitments from world leaders to reverse the devasting decline in biodiversity and restore nature. But we cannot do this alone. Not only do we need millions demanding change we also need your digital marketing skills to ensure people take action and drive campaigns within their own towns.
As Digital Community Executive you will work with colleagues across the UK to build and curate a community of super supporters who will take real world action throughout Spring 2020. This role is as much about rolling up your sleeves, to have conversations with supporters, as it is about working with team leaders to set strategy, execute campaigns and optimise and analyse the results. Passionate about delivering an amazing user experience, you will develop innovative content and communications to encourage people to share knowledge, ideas and experiences, and to interact with our digital spaces. Important too will be the ability to identify ways to make things better, share learning and understand the most effective methods of delivery.
You must have experience of digital marketing and working with social media. You will be skilled at motivating and engaging varied audiences and comfortable providing community management. You will also have a good understanding of the latest trends in digital. You will be familiar with conducting and delivering strong audience insight too.
Comfortable working to deadlines you will be good at prioritising workloads and have strong project management skills. An effective communicator, you will demonstrate the ability to follow and develop briefs as well as an interest in the natural world.
If you have the skills to build an active community of super supporters who will host community screenings and engage in political campaigning throughout the UK we want to hear from you! Please visit our website via the link and complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV with cover letter highlighting why you are interested in this role as well as why this role is for you.
At WWF-UK we are committed to creating an inclusive working environment, where diversity is valued and there is equality of opportunity. We therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community and we offer a range of benefits to encourage a work life balance.
Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We’re looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
