Job description

The primary role of a Housing Support Manager at Yellow Ribbon is to directly support our clients on a day to day basis. You will work with your clients to help them become a proactive member of society and one that is as independent as possible. You will support them to develop positive relationships and to be an equal and valued member of their local community.

As a Christian Charity you will need to be able to agree to our statment of faith.  We belive leading people to Jesus is the answer to lasting hope and change.

You will need to work flexible, will involve callouts on evenings and weekends to best support our clients. However you will manage the housing support team and this responsibility will be shared among the team.

Duties will include supporting service users to prevent re-offending and breach of licence, housing support, managing the housing team, liaising with offender managers, manage the referral and eviction process, manage client paperwork and database.

The chosen candidate must have must have access to own vehicle, experience of housing/tenancy issues, risk assessments, working with ex-offenders, excellent inter-personal skills and good professional boundaries.

Candidates who are in recovery for more than a year or have offending history are welcome to apply.

Hours are normally 37.5 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 16:30 however call outs may happen so the role needs to be flexible to suite the service needs. Time back is then paid in lieu.
