Digital Marketing Specialist 
Reed House, Brighton & Hove 
Full time - 37 hours  

YMCA DownsLink Group is a charity that works to support young people throughout Sussex and Surrey to enable them to belong, contribute and thrive. We look to achieve this by providing a wide range of services including accommodation, mental health, housing advice, counselling, mentoring, and apprenticeships. 

The charity has an ambition to increase fundraised income and support even more young people across Sussex and Surrey. To achieve this ambition, the group has committed to growing and diversifying income streams through investment into a new fundraising team and strategy. 

As part of this fundraising development, this is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing specialist to join the new communications and marketing team to help us drive our impact message forward and educate the local community and key stakeholder groups about the work we do. They will take ownership of all aspects of our digital marketing and support the growth of regular donations through increased, wider digital engagement with the organisation.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be the lead digital professional within the organisation. This is a critical role and will include responsibility for social media, websites and delivery of our integrated campaigns. We are seeking someone with an ability to create and develop engaging content for all channels and with a strong technical background and knowledge of digital analytics which will enable us to plan and develop relevant KPI’s. 

We are looking for someone with proven experience in a similar digital marketing role who has successfully developed and implemented social media campaigns including paid for campaigns, increasing social media audiences and website traffic, Facebook and google analytics and insights and previous experience of working on WordPress.
