YMCA DownsLink Group is an ambitious Housing Charity which, over the past decade, has grown its housing stock from 100 units of accommodation based in Brighton, to over 100 buildings providing 750 units of accommodation to over 1400 young people each year across Sussex & Surrey.
As Head of Housing and Property Services you will provide operational leadership to the organisation’s housing and property services teams, and have responsibility for the organisation’s housing management services, supported housing performance, rent functions, property services, including day to day repairs, landlord’s compliance and asset management, leasing, quality standards and regulatory compliance.
You will need to demonstrate in your application experience of operational leadership in either the charitable, housing or commercial sectors, experience of business and financial planning or relevant commercial experience and experience of delivering services in particular housing management and maintenance functions. You should have excellent problem solving and motivational skills, and, ideally, an understanding of the issues of vulnerable young people and delivering services to meet their needs
