We’re looking for an experienced Administrator to provide administrative support to our Locality, reporting to the Service Delivery Administration Manager, with support from the Service Delivery Coach.
Position: S11124 Service Delivery Administrator
Location: Home-based, Somerset (however, applicants are required to live in the Southwest) occasional travel maybe required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work -related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 23 hours per week
Salary: Circa £13,036 per annum (FTE circa £19,838)

Purpose of the position
The primary role of the Governance Assistant is to provide administrative support to the workstreams under the Head of Governance, which include but are not limited to, annual work plan, royal charter, bylaws, elections, policies and procedures and GDPR compliance.

The Governance Assistant’s duties and responsibilities include:
Governance

Work closely with the Head of Governance to ensure the charity is compliant with regulatory requirements

Maintain a good understanding of the governance processes and requirements, and work closely with the Head of Governance to ensure they are efficiently and effectively managed

Maintain a good understanding of the implications for the role and organisation of the requirements of GDPR and other relevant legislation

The role
Our services are growing. We are looking for locally based sessional facilitators to support the delivery of our Moving Forward courses across the UK. Our Moving Forward courses are for anyone with a primary breast cancer diagnosis who has finished their hospital-based treatment. Courses are a combination of face to face and online support and are delivered in partnership with local NHS Trusts/Boards. The number of courses can vary across locations but will typically be between 2 - 4 courses a year.

The Role
As our Stop Smoking Specialist you will help deliver our new Stop Smoking Service and underpin its commitment to support people to stop smoking and reduce the risk of cancer. You will provide specialist advice and support to our service users around tobacco addiction and provide evidence-based approaches in line with national guidance and good practice to help them to quit smoking.
You will be part of a growing team at the charity and will be vital in the implementation of our strategy to ensure people in Yorkshire receive the best prevention, diagnosis and treatment.The role will deliver evidence based stop smoking interventions to patients referred into the service, providing support, advice and guidance either face to face, virtually or by telephone to maximise quitting outcomes. You will work as part of a team to respond to referrals and work closely with our Active Together Services, that are being rolled out across Yorkshire, and NHS Trusts where we fund in patient smoking cessation programmes.
Specifically, you will:

Autonomously deliver smoking cessation assessments, advice and support, minimizing harm from tobacco and health-related issues in line with best guidance and protocols.

Undertake client assessments, making appropriate pharmacotherapy decisions, provide ongoing client support and undertaking 4- and 12-week follow-ups.

Advise on stop smoking medications to patients including all forms of NRT, vapes (e-cigarettes) as well as non-nicotine treatments.

Help patients who smoke to quit, communicating in a sensitive, client centred manner.

Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the service, including the completion of the minimum data set aligned to NHS England mandatory requirements. This will include following up with patients following discharge to monitor stop smoking outcomes.

Manage caseload of patients and be responsible for all associated tasks, including follow-up appointments, and managing diary commitments.

Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear verbal, digital or written information and instructions when sharing information, delegating, or handing over responsibility for care to ensure that smoking cessation records are kept up to date and accurate.

The Role
As an experienced campaign manager and copy-writer, you will support the Experience team to develop and deliver marketing approaches and journey communications, primarily for beneficiary and health/social care professional audiences. Overall Description
The Director of Programs oversees the management of Grassroot Soccer’s priority partnership geographies (Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Zimbabwe) while strengthening the technical assistance to Partners in all geographies as well as coordinating new partnerships globally. The Director of Programs will work closely with the Vice President, Impact and Operations and Director of Strategy and Innovation to develop strategic plans for all Partnership geographies. The Director of Programs – Maternity Cover would assume the responsibilities of the Director of Programs position while the Director of Programs is on maternity leave.
Grassroot Soccer (GRS) is a rapidly growing adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize at-risk youth in developing countries to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities. Since 2002, GRS programs have reached 13 million young people in over 60 countries with life-saving HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health information and services. Grassroot Soccer is looking to continue scaling its impact via partnerships over the next five years.
The Grassroot Soccer Partnerships (GP) team stewards GRS relationships with a wide range of partner organizations globally. The GP team supports these organizations to integrate the GRS model into their adolescent health strategies and coordinates the remote and in person technical support to these organizations to increase their capacity to deliver GRS interventions. 7+ years’ managing programs and/or operations in a national or multinational nonprofit

Experience overseeing implementation of organizational or program budgets of at least $1M annually

Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance to a range of different stakeholders (e.g. global headquarters, prime partners, ministry officials, local boards and program teams)

Experience managing cross-cultural remote teams

Demonstrated experience strategizing in complex scenarios, forecasting possible outcomes and proactively managing against those outcomes
-
Willingness and ability to travel (up to 25% of time)

Excellent written and oral English communication skills required, additional languages preferred

Quality Coordinator

We are currently looking for two Quality Coordinators to join our national team on a full time fixed term contract for 12 months initially. (We are also recruiting for a 6 month FTC - Please apply for this separately if you would also like to be considered)
The Quality Coordinator will work together collaboratively with the Personal Support operational team to provide guidance and coaching so we can provide safe, reliable and stable services, and use Person Centred Practices that deliver Improved Experiences and Outcomes for people.
Working with a focus on audit and improvement, Health and Safety and Practice your work plan will include undertaking agreed independent reviews and audits against the ‘What Matters Most’* standards and regulatory compliance. You will support the development of the quality and practice skills of managers and support workers using coaching and positive role modelling.
It is a challenging role working across the Quality Directorate and you must be willing to travel nationally and to stay away from home on a regular basis (weekly). You will get support with all areas of the work and an in-depth induction.
