Our Hopeful Families team is looking to recruit a Service Manager to lead on the management of all aspects of our Hopeful Families service to ensure contractual outcomes in relation to training, employment and quality of service are met. Yorkshire Children’s Centre is proud to be working in partnership with Seetec Pluss to deliver the ‘Hopeful Families’ service across Kirklees. The service is jointly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. The service aims to help individuals and their families with multiple barriers progress onto training, education and employment opportunities using bespoke, innovative and engaging interventions. You will be key to the engagement of individuals on programme and families in achieving improved health and wellbeing and sustainable employment.
The successful individual will have a background in managing people, overseeing quality of service provision and experience of working with commissioners/funding organisations. You will need to be well organised, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to develop creative solutions to meet individual client needs.
The post is will be part time on a fixed term contract until 31/12/2021. Hours to be worked Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work outside of these hours on occasion to meet the needs of the service. The post will be based at Brian Jackson House. However, staff are currently working at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Salary: £27,500 per annum / £23,571 pro rata
Hours: 30 hours
Days: Monday - Friday
