This is an exciting opportunity, for a passionate, hardworking and motivated individual to help grow and shape Young Camden Foundation (YCF) and join a small and enthusiastic team. The Development Manager will have tenacity and drive, leading large-scale funding applications and working with corporates and individuals to leverage investment.
This position will suit a self-motivated person capable of working within a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record in securing multi-year funding from both small and large grants which contribute towards core and project funding within the Voluntary Community Sector.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maximise income for the YCF from various sources including individual donors, trusts & foundations, corporate and public sectors and to assist more generally with other fundraising initiatives including events annual galas and campaigns
- Implement a fundraising strategy (with the CEO) to maximise income, including building new business pipeline & a portfolio of high value prospects
- Identify large scale grant opportunities for members; developing and leading consortia applications and considering arrangements where YCF is the lead bidder
- Manage the YCF Grants Officer. As the organisation develops and the team grows, your role may adapt and will most likely include further line management responsibilities.
