Each year, Young Enterprise helps thousands of young people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. Through our nationwide enterprise and financial capability programmes, we give young people the opportunities and experiences to discover who they are and what they’re good at.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving, youth focused, charity and play a pivotal role in the delivery and development of our flagship financial education programme, Centres of Excellence.  We are looking for an experienced, creative and proactive individual to join Young Enterprise as the Centres of Excellence Programme Manager on a permanent basis.


About the role
This is an important Programme Management role that will be the driving force in the development and delivery of the Centres of Excellence programme at Young Enterprise. The Programme Manager will also be responsible for the management of other projects and programmes as agreed.

The Programme Manager will lead on all aspects of the programme, considering options for digitisation and development as the programme grows in its work with schools and other education settings. They will build and manage effective working relationship with multiple programme stakeholders (internal and external), including teachers, senior leaders, funders and evaluators.


Who we are looking for
We are seeking an individual with strong organisation and project management skills, a solution focussed attitude to problem solving and the ability to balance and prioritise competing demands in a busy function. A successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget is critical. An understanding of education and school centred programmes, plus experience working with high profile funders and stakeholders would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will be operationally, politically and commercially astute with considerable operational and financial skills and should be able to demonstrate their success in complex project management alongside an understanding of the challenges that face education settings.

They will have the ability to think strategically and analytically, and be able to make quick and appropriate decisions to ensure the continuity of the project.
 

This is a full-time, permanent position and may be worked in the London Office or be home-based with some travel required. Full details can be found in the attached Job Description.
