Each year, Young Enterprise helps thousands of young people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. Through our nationwide enterprise and financial capability programmes, we give young people the opportunities and experiences to discover who they are and what they’re good at.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving, youth focused, charity and play a pivotal role in the development of our digital content and platforms.  We are looking for an experienced, creative and proactive individual to join Young Enterprise as Programme Manager on a permanent basis.

 

About the role
The Programme Manager will be responsible for leading core programmes designed to develop the enterprising mindsets of young people across England and Wales, including Fiver and 10X.

The Programme Manager will lead on all aspects of the programmes they manage, including content development, budget management, marketing and promotion, and monitoring and evaluation. They will build and manage effective working relationship with multiple programme stakeholders (internal and external), including teachers, senior leaders, funders and evaluators.

The programmes they manage operate via dedicated online platforms, and the Programme Manager will be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the platforms, their content and other digital delivery tools.

This is a full-time, permanent role which can be based either in our London office, or from home (UK only) with travel required.

 

Who we are looking for
We are seeking an individual with strong organisation and project management skills, a solution focussed attitude to problem solving and the ability to balance and prioritise competing demands in a busy function.

A successful track record of project and stakeholder management is essential to the role. An understanding of education and school centred programmes, plus experience working with web and digital developers would be a distinct advantage.

Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, this role provides a real opportunity to help drive YE’s programme offer forward, and to ensure that young people across the country have access to vital skills and attributes for future life and work.
