Regional Fundraising Manager - covering South Central and South East England
Grade 6 - salary from £33,000 - £38,000 per annum
Full time, permanent
Based at home but with significant travel throughout South Central and South East England and regular travel to London for team meetings
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Young Enterprise Fundraising Team in a brand new role, and at an important time for the charity as we launch a transformational new three year strategy. The Regional Fundraiser will develop and increase income for Young Enterprise from strategic partnerships. Working under the direction of the Director of Corporate Partnerships, key tasks will include researching and securing new funding partnerships and income streams from a range of sources and managing those relationships to ensure long-term support for the organisation.
The successful applicant will use their proven experience of identifying and securing substantial funding opportunities from a range of sources, working collaboratively with fundraising colleagues to achieve the maximum funding impact for Young Enterprise.
You will need to demonstrate you have successful bid writing experience and/or creating and delivering successful sales pitches to corporates, major donors, local authorities and other organisations.
You will also need to show your knowledge and understanding of the motivations and needs of donors, and have evidence of stewarding and renewing long-term partnerships to a high level.
You should have strong negotiating skills, which result in positive outcomes, and have the resilience and motivation to overcome any difficulties.
Your positive, 'can do' attitude will enthuse prospective and current supporters, colleagues and volunteers alike.
