This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving, youth focused, charity and play a pivotal role in the development of our flagship Company Programme. We are looking for an experienced, creative and proactive individual to join Young Enterprise as maternity cover for the Senior Programme Manager on a temporary basis for 12 months.
About the role
The Senior Programme Manager is responsible for the management of the Young Enterprise Company Style programmes (currently Company, Team and Start Up) ensuring they are set up to be delivered smoothly provide maximum impact, and continue to develop to best meet the needs of young people.
Over the next 12 months the Senior Programme Manager will lead on the exciting re-development of Company Programme building on initial research findings to improve the supporting digital infrastructure, embed ongoing learning and reflection, and ensure that the programme is contributing to YE’s organisational Theory of Change.
The Senior Programme Manager also supports a small team of Programme and Support Managers with the day to day delivery and support of their allocated programmes ensuring that they remain engaging, relevant and up to date for their intended audiences.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking an individual with a solution focussed attitude to problem solving and the ability to balance and prioritise competing demands in a busy function. A successful track record of building strong internal and external relationships is crucial. An understanding of education and school centred programmes, plus experience working with web and digital developers would be a distinct advantage.
Reporting to the Head of Programmes and Services, this role will provide a high level of education sector expertise to support the ongoing development of current programmes as well as new initiatives.
