Job description

We are seeking a highly organised person with impeccable written and communication skills to join our talented team.

This unique opportunity will be best suited for somebody who is looking to enter the third sector, specifically as a corporate fundraiser. You will work with our Head of Partnerships, Chief Executive, and colleagues from across the charity to raise funds from businesses either through commercial activity or through a range of corporate partnerships. We are seeking creativity, self-motivation and somebody who is passionate about our social purpose and loves writing compelling proposals.

A critical part of the role will be the development of a planned, prioritised and well researched proposals to gaming, gambling and tech business with a focus on securing new income streams and maximising Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities. Our ideal candidate will also have an outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Sharepoint/OneDrive). Experience of a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) programme would be advantageous, such as Salesforce and a good knowledge of LinkedIn.

This post is being offered as a full-time position and a competitive salary of £22,750 (depending on experience). If you live in Greater London, there will be an additional payment of £2,800 London Weighting. YGAM will also support you with a fully funded Chartered Institute of Fundraising Certificate / Diploma upon successful competition of your probation period. This is a home-based role and we will provide everything you need to establish a home-office.
