Street League use sport and physical activity to tackle youth unemployment. We specialise in helping our participants (16-24 year olds from disadvantaged areas) progress from our unique football, fitness or dance-fitness and education programmes into sustainable employment, education and training.
We are a growing organisation and currently operate across the UK in 14 regions, including Greater London, the North East and North West of England, Yorkshire, the Midlands and across Scotland.
We are currently recruiting a Youth & Community Coach in Liverpool. They will be required to deliver football sessions and to deliver a sports-related qualification on the Street League Academy. They will also be responsible for carrying out outreach for sessions and to recruit and sustain participants on the Academy to ensure delivery targets are met. The post holder will work 25 hours per week.
Minimum requirements are FA Level 2 or above, experience in coaching preferably with young people aged 16-24 and an understanding of the Street League client group. A teaching qualification (e.g. Ptlls) and/or an assessor qualification is highly desirable.
