We are "Youth Mix" a new start-up young people’s charity that aims to become award winning by “Inspiring A Generation” and empowering young people through informal learning to be changemakers in their communities, and to deliver highly effective engaging, fun and impactful programmes that UNITE communities, EDUCATE on social issues and build skills, and INSPIRE a generation of leaders and active citizens.

We are looking for someone with administrstive/secretary experience to join our recently formed board as Secretary to the Board of Trustees, where you will support the Chair and also deal with Board administrative duties, from minute taking, to typing us notes and meetings keeoping records, organising meetings and arranging venues, refreshments etc and so forth.

We are looking for someone who shares in our values and vision for Youth Mix and who has the skills, qualities and expertise to help a startup young peoples charity. We are seeking an active and engaged person, who will not only bring with them self motivation, time and dedication but will also bring passion, drive, enthusiasm and a real energy and buzz to the role, to really help us make a difference in the lives of young people aged 16 to 26 years old.

As this role is voluntary, the role offers great flexibility to fit around your time (including daytimes, evenings and/or weekends, however the majority of our work will take place at bi-monthly evening meetings and on occassional weekend days, where you will be required to attend).
