We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Wellbeing Neurodivergence Specialists to join our innovative Children and Young People (CYP) Wellbeing Service, which serves as the central hub for all mental health referrals for young people in Brighton & Hove.

The service provides mild‑to‑moderate mental health support for children and young people aged 2–24 years living in Brighton & Hove.

We’re looking for accredited professionals from a CWP, EMHP or similar background, with proven experience delivering low‑intensity CBT interventions.

In this role you will be working with children and young people with ADHD and/or Autism, where neurodivergence is diagnosed or suspected, and presentations are mild to moderate. This is a low‑intensity, first‑line CBT offer, delivered through in‑person sessions and/or group work.

Key responsibilities include triaging referrals, completing wellbeing assessments, and delivering short‑term, evidence‑based treatment.

About you

You will have solid experience of delivering evidence-based, short term low-intervention therapy to Children and Young People (8-24) in a community setting. Along with substantive experience of working with Children and Young People (8-24) with suspected or diagnosed Neurodivergent conditions (ADHD and Autism).

You will already be accredited or eligible for accreditation under HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP, BPS, PTUK or AFSP.

You are a strong team player, confident working under supervision, and able to safeguard young people while running groups or structured activities. You can communicate complex information clearly both verbally and in writing, while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team. 

A teaching or training qualification (e.g. Level 3 AET) would be an advantage, along with experience of delivering training groups.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overall responsibility of the job:

Duties will vary from week to week, but essentially responsibilities will include the following:

●  Oversee all areas of ministry to the rising generation (0-18 year olds) within the church and local community, including holding the overall vision of vibrant missional outreach, making innovative use of our excellent facilities.

●  Manage and support our youth team including Pais Apprentices, Ministry Exchange Scheme students and volunteers.

●  Engage with local secondary and primary schools through assemblies, Youth Alpha sessions and pastoral visits, building on strong existing relationships.

●  Oversee the rising generation budget and engage with the
fundraising team to seek funding opportunities to enable an excellent youth provision.

●  Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested by the Rector.

General Duties:

●  Find and initiate innovative ways of engaging with children, young people and their families both within the local community and those already engaged with church.

●  Work with the Rector, PCC and rising generation team in growing the St Peter’s vision and strategy for reaching children and young people in our local community and helping them grow as followers of Jesus.

●  Plan and run a range of different activities and projects for children and young people in the St Peter’s Community and Youth Hub.

●  Use Churchsuite to maintain accurate records of children and young people who participate in youth activities.

● Work with our Activate and Scripture Union Sports Minister to integrate sports and activities into the rising generation programme. Also work alongside our mission partners which include PAIS, Guildford Diocese Ministry Exchange Scheme and Scripture Union.

Schools Work

●  Building on our excellent relationships with local schools, visit local primary and secondary schools regularly and lead acts of worship within them, liasing with the Rector and the schools directly.

●  Lead lunchtime and/or after school activities in schools, including expanding the use of our bespoke Youth Alpha materials.

●  Assist in providing chaplaincy as requested within the local schools and seek opportunities to grow mission.

●  Work collaboratively with the Children’s and Youth Team, including Pais Apprentices and Guildford Diocese Ministry Exchange Scheme team members when applicable.

Safeguarding

●  Oversee the Children’s and Youth Ministry in a way that follows National Safeguarding Guidelines.

●  Respond effectively and appropriately to any safeguarding concerns, as they arise, following the safeguarding protocol.

●  Build and maintain consistent appropriate relationships with children and young people in person (Employed staff or volunteer team members must not engage in exclusive or romantic relationships with young people under the age of 18 or vulnerable adults as this is against the law and could result in prosecution).

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Thames Valley Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Interim Senior FP&A Manager

Affinity Trust is looking for an experienced Interim Senior FP&A Manager to bring senior finance capacity, challenge and insight across a complex, multi-site organisation.

This is not a routine reporting role. We are looking for someone who can quickly get under the skin of operational performance, understand the financial drivers behind service delivery, and help senior leaders make better, faster and more informed decisions.

You will work closely with the Head of Finance, Finance Business Partners, Divisional Directors and operational leaders, providing high-quality analysis, forecasting, commercial insight and constructive challenge. The work will span income, workforce costs, agency and overtime spend, utilisation, fee rates, contract performance, forecasting assumptions and recovery planning.

This is a senior individual contributor role, adding experienced capacity where it is most needed, to help maintain pace across key priorities, and strengthen the link between financial insight and operational action.

The assignment

You will be joining at a point where strong financial planning, clear analysis and senior business partnering are critical to supporting sustainable services.

Your work will include:

• Leading robust forecasting and scenario modelling across a complex operational portfolio
• Providing senior finance business partnering to divisional and operational leaders
• Analysing key cost drivers, particularly workforce-related costs such as agency, overtime, sickness and staffing ratios
• Reviewing income, fee rates, local authority funding assumptions, utilisation and contract performance
• Supporting tenders, contract reviews, business cases and service sustainability analysis
• Helping identify whether financial pressure is driven by fee levels, operational delivery, workforce deployment or a combination of factors
• Translating complex financial information into clear insight, options and practical recommendations
• Supporting the head of finance and wider finance team with additional senior capacity during a period of increased demand.

About you

You will be a qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent, and substantial experience in senior FP&A, finance business partnering or commercial finance roles.

You will be confident working with senior stakeholders and able to bring both grip and judgement. You will know how to challenge assumptions constructively, explain complex financial information clearly, and turn analysis into action.

You are likely to have worked in a complex, multi-site or operationally demanding environment, where financial performance is closely linked to workforce planning, contract income, service delivery and operational decision-making.

You will bring:

• Strong FP&A, forecasting, modelling and management reporting experience
• Advanced Excel and analytical capability
• Credibility with senior operational and finance stakeholders
• Experience supporting budgeting, reforecasting, recovery planning and performance improvement
• The ability to work at pace, prioritise well and operate with a high level of autonomy
• A practical, commercial and solutions-focused approach.

Experience in social care, healthcare, supported living, charity or not-for-profit settings would be helpful, but is not essential. Experience with Local Authority funding, high-volume staffing models, workforce cost pressures or interim turnaround environments would be particularly valuable.

About The Noah Jordan Foundation

The Noah Jordan Foundation is a fast-growing UK children’s charity established in memory of Noah, who died in 2024 from POLG mitochondrial disease, a rare and devastating paediatric mitochondrial disorder which can cause severe neurological deterioration and liver failure in children, and for which there is currently no effective treatment or cure.

Following Noah’s death, his family made him a promise: that his legacy would help change the future for children and families affected by mitochondrial disease.

The Foundation was established to deliver that promise through three charitable objectives:

Medical Research

Funding pioneering medical research to improve clinical management, accelerate the development of effective treatments and ultimately help drive progress towards cures for rare paediatric mitochondrial diseases, including POLG-related mitochondrial disorders.

Raising Awareness

Increasing awareness and understanding of mitochondrial disease amongst healthcare professionals, organisations and the wider public through campaigns, events, education and training.

Supporting Children and Families

Providing practical and emotional support to children and families affected by mitochondrial disease through information, resources, services and financial assistance where possible.

Since launching in September 2024, thanks to our incredible community, the Foundation has grown rapidly, raising more than £400,000 in just over 18 months.

Our Impact

The Foundation has already:

• Fully funded a three-year medical research PhD programme into POLG mitochondrial disease at the Mitochondrial Research Group (MRG) at Newcastle University, under the guidance of one of the UK’s leading Professors of Paediatric Mitochondrial Medicine, who also serves as a Charity Medical Advisor to the Foundation.
• Supported affected children, families and organisations across the UK.
• Developed national corporate partnerships and strategic relationships.
• Built a growing national supporter community and dedicated volunteer network.
• Established a growing national profile across mitochondrial disease awareness, fundraising and advocacy.
• Begun work towards funding further pioneering mitochondrial disease research and delivering long-term charitable impact.

Everything achieved so far has been built through passion, community and an unwavering commitment to creating meaningful change. Whilst we are proud of what has been achieved during our first 18 months, we believe this is only the beginning.

The Foundation is now entering an exciting and important phase of development as we strengthen long-term sustainability, diversify income, grow partnerships and build the organisational capability required to maximise impact for children and families affected by mitochondrial disease across the UK, whilst contributing towards change around the world through research, awareness and support.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to help build a nationally recognised charity at an exciting and formative stage of its journey.

The Noah Jordan Foundation is building towards becoming a nationally recognised force for change within paediatric mitochondrial disease research, awareness and family support.

As the Foundation’s first full-time employee, the Charity Manager will play a key role in shaping the future culture, structure and direction of the organisation.

Reporting directly to the Charity Director and working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will help develop organisational strategy, grow income, strengthen operations, build partnerships and support the long-term sustainability of the Foundation.

The Charity Manager will act as the Foundation’s operational and fundraising lead, helping drive continued growth and maximise impact for children and families affected by mitochondrial disease.

This role requires someone equally comfortable developing strategy, building partnerships and driving income growth, whilst also rolling their sleeves up and supporting practical delivery where required.

One day may involve developing fundraising strategy, corporate relationships or marketing initiatives. Another may involve supporting volunteers, delivering events or solving operational challenges.

From partnerships, fundraising strategy and marketing to events, administration and operational support, the successful candidate will need to be comfortable contributing wherever required.

This role will suit someone ambitious, adaptable and proactive who thrives within fast-moving environments and enjoys building meaningful impact from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising and Income Growth

• Lead and grow fundraising activity across the Foundation.
• Develop and manage corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
• Identify and secure trusts, grants and major donor funding.
• Support regular giving and community fundraising growth.
• Help develop long-term fundraising strategy and income diversification.
• Build and nurture relationships with donors, businesses, trusts and strategic partners.
• Develop proposals and pitches for supporters, businesses and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities and support sustainable income growth.
• Strengthen supporter stewardship and donor relationships.
• Support fundraising campaigns and flagship charity initiatives.

Operations and Organisational Development

• Help build systems, processes and operational structures as the charity grows.
• Support governance, compliance and reporting requirements.
• Develop reporting frameworks and performance measures to support Trustee oversight and organisational growth.
• Support budget monitoring and financial administration alongside Trustees.
• Lead, support and help develop the Foundation’s dedicated volunteer network, helping build a positive, engaged and high-performing volunteer culture.
• Support CRM systems and fundraising pipeline management.
• Help develop internal processes to support sustainable long-term growth.
• Undertake additional responsibilities commensurate with the role where required.

Communications, Marketing and External Engagement

• Support planning and delivery of campaigns, events and public engagement activity.
• Lead marketing, communications and storytelling activity to strengthen awareness, supporter engagement and fundraising.
• Help develop campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of mitochondrial disease and strengthen the Foundation’s profile.
• Support content development across digital platforms and supporter communications.
• Represent the Foundation externally with professionalism, warmth and passion.
• Build and strengthen relationships with supporters, businesses and stakeholders.
• Represent the needs of affected children and families and help drive innovation, awareness and positive change.
• Work closely with the Charity Director on strategic development and future growth.

About You

We are seeking someone with:

• Approximately 5–10 years’ experience within fundraising, charity development, partnerships or organisational growth.
• A proven ability to build relationships and generate income.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills.
• Confidence developing proposals, presenting ideas and pitching to supporters, businesses and stakeholders.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
• A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset.
• A willingness to learn, develop and grow alongside a rapidly evolving organisation.
• A willingness to be hands-on and contribute wherever needed.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, with an understanding of how marketing and communications drive awareness, fundraising and supporter engagement.

About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraiser (Donor Relationship) to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.

The Community Fundraiser (Donor Relationship) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience for all community and event fundraisers. This role focuses on building strong, meaningful, and long‑lasting relationships with individuals, groups, and volunteers who raise funds, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and inspired to continue their journey with the charity. The postholder will lead on thanking, recognition, supporter journeys, and stewardship-led initiatives that deepen engagement across all levels of community fundraising.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Supporter Journeys & Stewardship

• Create tailored donor journeys for all community and event supporters,
  ensuring timely touchpoints, personalised engagement, and clear pathways for
  deeper involvement.
• Develop and implement a reward and recognition process that celebrates
  supporter milestones, achievements, and loyalty, using insight‑driven methods
  to nurture long-term commitment.

• Lead and develop a new thanking process for community and event supporters,
  ensuring gratitude is timely, meaningful, and impactful across all channels.
• Develop an SMS journey for community and event supporters that enhances
  engagement, provides real-time updates, and complements wider stewardship

Supporter Journeys & Stewardship:

• Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team to source

  impact and bring fundraising stories to life.

• Work with marketing on monthly newsletters, contributing stewardship-led
  content, supporter spotlights, and updates aligned with community fundraising
  priorities

Events & Recognition:

• Lead on the planning and delivery of the annual community awards event,
  celebrating supporter achievements and strengthening the charity’s
  relationship with grassroots fundraisers.

• Ensure the event reflects supporter diversity, contribution levels, and the
  organisation’s values.

Data & Insights:

• Maintain accurate, timely and GDPR‑compliant supporter records to ensure
  excellent stewardship and meaningful reporting

FTWW is looking for a Communications Coordinator! The successful candidate will develop and grow the organisation’s online platform, including sharing information, resources and signposting within FTWW’s pan-Wales virtual peer support community and beyond.

The role is full-time (0.8 FTE considered for the right candidate), home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage. We work flexibly, but core working hours are between 10am-4pm, and the successful candidate will be expected to work some evening and weekends, as required.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in promoting a focus group to our members one day and meeting with a journalist the next. We currently have over 100 registered volunteers and over 2000 members of our online community, and you will work closely with our Volunteer & Community Coordinator to ensure that our members are at the heart of what we do.

The ability to speak Welsh, or a willingness to learn, is desirable.

Successful applicants will need to complete a basic DBS check and provide references before any offer of employment is made.
