Overall Job Purpose:
Seeds of Peace is an organisation which inspires and cultivates new generations of global leaders in communities divided by conflict by providing them with the skills, relationships, and community to transform conflict into progress. This Seeds of Peace Camp brings together young people from across Egypt, India, Israel, Jordan, Pakistan, Palestine, and US and UK to work collaboratively with peers in a multi-national setting. The program provides a transformative journey of personal growth through dialogue and leadership exercises, equipping participants to become effective agents of change in their communities.
The Camp staff team consists of counselors, facilitators, activity leaders and a leadership team, all working together to create and implement the camp programme and contribute to an environment of harmony at Camp. The role of Counsellor is to guide and mentor campers in their day to day experience of camp. Counsellors are by campers' side throughout their journey, encouraging and supporting them along the way.

Main responsibilities include:
Camper Support and Supervision
- Supervise campers in residential and activity groups, ensuring you know where campers are at all times.
- Get to know each camper individually and provide the support they need to help them have a safe and successful camp experience.
- Support campers in their day-to-day needs, including proactively supporting campers emotional and physical wellbeing and managing camper behaviour.
- Mentor and prioritise the well-being of campers at all times, while acting as a role model and offering guidance and support to campers.
- Collaborate with other staff to address complex issues and ensure camper well-being.
- Maintain open communication with campers to uphold a supportive atmosphere.
- Facilitation of cultural exchange and understanding amongst campers by embracing and celebrating the diverse backgrounds of campers.
Programming and Activities:
- Encourage active participation for campers in all camp activities.
Additional Camp Support
- Contribute to an atmosphere of communication, trust and respect on Camp.

Main Responsibilities Include:
Camp Programming and Activities
- Design and lead activities as part of the arts, sports, or group challenge activity team.

- Developing a resource base of activities that meet the goals and objectives of the programme
- Preparing rainy day back up programmes which can be implemented at short notice
- Design, plan and run ‘Colour Games’ - a two day phase of camp with various individual and group activities.

Additional Camp Support

- Supporting Counsellors with bunk responsibilities after the camp day’s activities.

Calibre Audio is a national charity providing accessible audiobooks to people who are unable to read print due to visual impairment, dyslexia, or other conditions. Through a digital-first service and diverse library, the charity enables children and adults to experience the joy and lifelong benefits of reading, while increasingly delivering impact across literacy, education, wellbeing and social inclusion.
Fundraising at Calibre Audio is entering an exciting new phase of development. The charity has recently appointed its first Director of Fundraising & Communications, bringing fundraising, communications and brand together under a newly created leadership role. With a refreshed organisational narrative, ambitious plans for growth and a renewed focus on increasing income and profile, fundraising is becoming an increasingly important driver of Calibre Audio’s future impact.
Trusts and foundations are a key part of this growth strategy. Historically, income has been generated through a combination of loyal funders and a high volume of smaller grants. The organisation is now seeking to build a more strategic trusts programme focused on stronger stewardship, deeper funder relationships, larger grants and long-term partnerships. There is significant untapped potential, including opportunities to re-engage previous funders, develop new relationships and secure support for a range of compelling programmes spanning literacy, education, disability, wellbeing and community impact.
The Senior Trusts Fundraiser will lead this work, partnering closely with the Director to shape and deliver the next phase of trusts fundraising at Calibre Audio. This is a role with genuine scope to influence strategy, develop new opportunities and make a visible contribution to organisational growth. It would suit an ambitious trusts fundraiser who enjoys relationship building as much as writing applications and is motivated by the opportunity to help build something.
As Senior Trusts Fundraiser, you will:
- Develop and implement a strategic trusts and foundations fundraising programme aligned with organisational priorities
- Identify, research and cultivate new funding opportunities, with a focus on larger and multi-year grants
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective trusts and foundations
- Develop compelling, high-quality funding applications, proposals and report
- Secure significant income from a portfolio of trusts and foundations
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with funders through excellent stewardship and engagement
- Reactivate and develop relationships with previous funders and supporters
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather impact data and develop compelling cases for support

Project Coordinator (Boys’ Development Team)
As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering a range of services in primary and secondary schools, supporting FM development and transitional work with boys and young men. The post holder will support the Head of Programme (Boys’ Development Team) with formulating a strategy for developing this work across localities, in line with FM’s vision, mission and values and business plan. A key element will be to support new developments, identify best practice in conflict management work and embed these in current services.

About This Vacancy
We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Officer to join our International Programmes Team on a fixed-term basis for one year, covering a period of maternity leave.
Overview
The Project Officer will be part of a regional team that works with new and existing partners to design, deliver and learn from projects in line with the organisation’s mission. The team supports the full project cycle: partner engagement, application review, due diligence, project design, contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and project closure, maintaining accurate records throughout, in close collaboration with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists).
The Project Officer will work collaboratively across the regional team, providing flexible support and surge capacity during peak periods and responding to emerging priorities as required. Under the supervision of Programme Managers and the Regional Director, they will also take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of assigned partners and specific projects, ensuring timely progression from concept to completion and that documentation, compliance, quality assurance and learning requirements are met. This includes working with the Quality Team to integrate appropriate MEAL approaches, support data quality and ensure learning is captured and shared.
Key Responsibilities
·Project Identification and Evaluation
oIdentify and assess project concepts and proposals with assigned partners, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, feasibility, risk, safeguarding considerations and expected impact.
oContribute to emergency or rapid-response programming when required, including providing surge support to colleagues and helping to coordinate time-critical actions.

oSupport sound financial management across the Regional Team and for assigned projects, including budget review, payment scheduling, verification of supporting documentation and reconciliation of expenditure against budgets.

oPrepare clear updates and financial summaries for Programme Managers, the Regional Director and other internal stakeholders, maintaining an appropriate audit trail.

Person Requirement

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you’ll identify prospective funders, manage relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, and craft compelling funding proposals and reports that bring our impact to life.

Your responsibilities:
Write funding applications and reports

Support wider voluntary income and engagement opportunities

Keep accurate and detailed records
You’ll ensure all philanthropy activity is recorded promptly and accurately, helping us manage relationships, reporting deadlines and fundraising activity effectively. You’ll support the team’s efficiency by keeping organised records and helping manage key administrative processes.
You’ll also ensure we meet data protection and fundraising regulations, including GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
Contribute to wider organisational priorities
You’ll be a collaborative team member, supporting cross-team projects and organisation-wide initiatives as needed. From time to time, you may also be asked to take on other duties in line with your role.
About you
Essential
- Experience independently securing high four-figure or ideally five-figure grants from charitable trusts and foundations, including developing successful funding applications and reports.
- Experience managing relationships with funders and delivering thoughtful stewardship to encourage long-term support.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly, accurately and persuasively for different audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to produce consistently high-quality work while managing multiple deadlines independently.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people including funders, colleagues and young people.
- Experience identifying and researching prospective funders and helping to develop funding pipelines.
- Passion for Future Frontiers’ mission and a strong commitment to improving opportunities for under-resourced young people.

Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants with a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.
Family day activities bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. Coordinators develop and facilitate activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.
Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisational and communication skills.
Full and part-time positions available, and coordinators are required to work most Saturdays. In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed. Activities are delivered across Kent, so some travel is required.

The Role
You’ll work closely with foster carers and social work colleagues to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support and improve outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT
- Providing support to children with emotional welfare and mental health needs
- Supporting interventions and activities to ensure stable placement arrangements
