We’re looking for a skilled and innovative individual to lead one of our pioneering Therapeutic Hubs, developed in partnership with a local church. This role sits at the front line of responding to the growing mental and emotional health needs of children, young people and families, offering high-quality therapeutic support to intervene early and prevent crisis.
As Head of Service for the Hub, you will provide strong clinical leadership, delivering targeted therapeutic support for complex cases while overseeing referrals and therapeutic pathways within the Hub. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team of volunteer counsellors, trainees and therapeutic coaches, modelling trauma‑informed, relational practice shaped by PACE values and reflective supervision.
Alongside direct delivery, you will play a key role in developing the Hub’s reach and effectiveness, working collaboratively with TLG, the partner church and local referrers. Safeguarding, quality and professional excellence are central to the role, with responsibility for ensuring the hub is a safe, welcoming and effective space for children and families from diverse backgrounds to find healing and hope.
Due to the pioneering nature of this role, its scope may initially feel broad, as a key focus in the Hub’s early stages will be on shaping and developing the service with the church and central TLG team. TLG has a clear and realistic understanding of time and capacity, allowing the role to grow at a manageable and sustainable pace. As the Hub becomes more established, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the team to refine and focus the role in line with emerging needs and capacity. You will be supported throughout by a strong central team, working alongside you to ensure the role remains both manageable and impactful as it evolves.

What you’ll be doing
This is a varied and outward-facing role where no two weeks look the same. You’ll:

You’ll spend time out and about in your local area, as well as working flexibly from home.
The role can be a full or a part time job share and offers flexibility for anyone with childcare/caring responsibilities, candidates in existing part time employment or study. We also offer home based working for even greater flexibility and balance with the responsibilities of family life.

About your team
You’ll be joining our brilliant South Region team, which covers our largest region from Kent to Cornwall, offering numerous opportunities to contribute your expertise in a variety of contexts, from urban and suburban to coastal and rural settings. You’ll have a brilliant time getting acquainted with this rich tapestry of local and national partners. Across the south region, we currently work with 130 churches and have 150 faith guides, we’d like to see these numbers grow significantly over the next few years.
In the south region we have the highest density of Christian holidays and festivals, with events that we organise and run directly and a variety of festival and missions that we support and partner with. You’ll have a fantastic opportunity each summer to get hands on engaged in these mission and festivals throughout the year.
Our South Region also includes our vibrant capital, one of the most multicultural and ethnically diverse cities in the world, with over 300 languages spoken. With many like-minded missional organisations having a footprint in and around the capital, and all of the Christian movements and denominations represented here, London holds key strategic value and will be the focus of your ministry activities. You’ll be joining an exceptional and growing team of five staff. We are particularly interested in how sports, arts, and culture can be explored to further enable the mission both in London and across SU and would be particularly interested in candidates with expertise in either of these areas.

We exist to end malaria, together. Malaria is preventable and treatable — yet a child still dies every minute from this disease. At Malaria No More UK (MNMUK), we refuse to accept this.
Through targeted influencing communications, bold partnerships and political advocacy, we mobilise the leadership, funding and innovation needed to end malaria in our lifetimes. We work to protect G7 ODA budgets for malaria and unlock new financing opportunities that accelerate progress toward a malaria-free world.
Our mission is to catalyse and inspire the global partnerships, leadership, and financing to end malaria in a generation. Our advocacy and communications expertise unlock vital funds and drive the conversation and action needed to reach zero malaria.
This is an exciting time to join our fundraising team. We have a clear ambition to grow and diversify income, with corporate partnerships playing a central role. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful, strategic relationships that directly support our mission and help drive real-world impact.
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to use their expertise in corporate fundraising to help achieve our bold mission: ending malaria for good. While driving income through strategic corporate partnerships will be a focus, the postholder will also grow Malaria No More UK’s individual giving and fundraising.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator, with outstanding written and verbal skills and the ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. Highly organised with the ability to be detail-oriented where needed, the successful candidate will manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a strategic focus on income generation. Skills will include being proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working flexibly within a small, collaborative fundraising and partnerships team, bringing creativity and confidence to developing compelling proposals, pitches, and engagement opportunities, alongside strong relationship management skills and a commitment to advancing Malaria No More UK’s mission.
