The Corporate Partnerships Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the Fundraising and Communications directorate and is responsible for managing, stewarding, renewing, and growing our corporate partners to meet our fundraising income targets. Our partners range from complex programmatic-focused partners to employee engagement-driven partners and reflect a combination of financial support, skills-based support, and volunteering. The role is varied and requires strong time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship management, and a deep understanding of industry standards, best practices, and trends. You will be required to engage and influence a wide range of partner stakeholders plus collaborate across our Fundraising and Communication Directorate, Delivery Directorate, and Finance teams to meet the needs of our partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the management of our corporate partners, developing and delivering partnership strategies and stewardship plans for each account to deliver against the objectives and meet income targets.
· Work closely with the New Business Senior Manager to ensure the collaborative transition of new partners into account management, liaise with the Volunteering and Events Manager to deliver volunteering opportunities to partners, and the Fundraising Officer to promote challenge events to our partners.
· Support the CEO on the development and management of stewardship for select trustees and senior partner contacts.
· Accurately forecast and manage expenditures for our partners, creating mitigation plans when necessary
· Contribute to the organisation and team’s annual plans, strategies, and budgets.
· Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce database, financial accounting, account management plans, contracts, and due diligence.
· Understand and support the vision, mission, and aims of London Youth.

A little bit about the role
The fundraising manager role sits in the fundraising team within the external relations division. The fundraising team is responsible for raising between £1m and £1.5m in fundraised income annually. Frontline’s philanthropic income complements the significant contract income the charity receives from central and local government and enables the charity to carry out its broader mission to create social change for hundreds of thousands of disadvantaged children.
Since we were founded in 2013, Frontline has leveraged its success to build committed, high impact partnerships with a number of prestigious supporters including, trusts and foundations, corporates and high net worth individuals. Our new fundraising strategy focuses on continuing to grow our network of supporters by maintaining excellent relationships with our current funders while identifying new potential donors, and at the same time testing and developing fundraising through community and events and individual giving.
We are now looking for a fundraising manager to help drive this strategy forward. The successful candidate will have experience across a range of fundraising areas (in particular community and events fundraising, individual giving, digital fundraising as well as corporate or major donors) to add strength to the team and allow us to pilot new fundraising initiatives.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Lead on developing our public fundraising income (individual giving/community and events fundraising), working with other teams and external agencies where suitable to increase engagement among our audiences and grow our public fundraising income.
- Work with and develop relationships with existing corporate supporters and bring on board new corporate supporters to grow income from this area, including through staff fundraising activities
- Work with other teams to develop opportunities to bring funders closer to our work and help inspire a culture of fundraising across the charity.
- Support the head of fundraising with the development of Frontline’s long-term fundraising strategy, monitoring progress towards annual revenue goals.
A little bit about you
You’ll be an enthusiastic target-driven fundraiser, with experience in building up public fundraising (including community, events and individual giving) and working towards financial targets and growing income. We’d like to see someone with strong writing skills, and are able to express creative and sometimes complex ideas in simple and effective language.

Employer - Kids

Ø To work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to ensure that all events are well promoted and all marketing avenues have been explored, helping to formulate and monitor marketing planning and delivery to ensure targets are met.

Ø To ensure events are thoroughly evaluated and recommendations implemented.
Reporting
· To provide regular activity, income and pipeline updates to the CEO and Finance & Business Development Committee.
· Maintain accurate records of income and restrictions.
· Ensure that progress against KPIs and pipeline is effectively monitored and reported, flagging concerns and developments in good time.

The post will be responsible for identifying and developing new and existing relationships with corporate partners and prospects to fundraise and generate income to assist the team in reaching agreed income targets.

The post holder will work closely with and report to the Lead Corporate Engagement Manager and will also work closely with the following:
• Existing Corporate Relationship Managers regarding managing corporate partners and supporting new business proposals.

a) Account Management – 40%
• Working with the Lead Corporate Engagement Manager and the Corporate Team to plan and implement strategies to maximise income and support from all agreed business partners whilst prioritising our most valuable partners

Are you passionate about young people’s mental health? Would you like to take the reigns on Young Minds’ biggest partnership to date, with retail giant, Marks & Spencer, to make sure we maximise this opportunity, for both income and impact?
As Major Partnerships Lead you will spearhead our ground-breaking charity partnership with M&S, steering a multidisciplinary team of YoungMinds' colleagues. You will be an experienced charity partnership lead or corporate account management expert, with outstanding agile delivery/project management skills, confident relationship-building and negotiation skills, alongside experience of leading programmes with multiple workstreams and stakeholders to deliver impact.
You will be responsible for effective delivery of the partnership towards its ambitious goal of raising £5 million over the next three years, enabling YoungMinds to double its reach to young people, and help get our annual awareness campaign, #HelloYellow, into every primary school in the UK. You will work creatively with our partner and steering group to shape both fundraising and purpose driven activity to maximise our impact for young people.
As an experienced agile professional, you will work with key stakeholders to understand project requirements and priorities. Your people skills help you to bring disparate teams and opinions together and have them focussed on an agreed shared outcome.
The successful candidate will have:
- experience of leading a large charity partnership or corporate fundraising function
- knowledge and experience of delivery management and/or project management methods, with a track record of successfully delivering outcomes
- experience of leading commercial negotiations
- experience of establishing and embedding effective systems and processes
- proven ability to establish credibility and manage and sustain strong relationships with a number of senior stakeholders
- ability to work at pace and with an agile approach
- excellent concise and robust communication skills both written and verbal
This is a three-year fixed-term position, at four days a week, via a hybrid working arrangement.
