As SSAFA’s Audience & Marketing Insights Manager, you will provide central oversight and leadership in fundraising/marketing/communications (FMC) data, acting as the main interface to the Central Data Team (CDT), turning data into tools, frameworks, and insights that improve revenue and engagement performance.
You will be responsible for analysing FMC data to drive improvements to revenue conversion, brand awareness, volunteer recruitment, beneficiary reach metrics via data insights and cooperation with the CDT.
Your role will be critical in supporting our marketing, fundraising, and communications functions by transforming audience and campaign data into action, enabling evidence‑based decision‑making, and shaping strategic planning.
The campaign insights you provide will guide FMC stakeholders in defining objectives, measuring and driving growth to their KPIs via an excellent ‘applied’ understanding of marketing data, and ensuring all activities are targeted, effective, and continually improving.

You have excellent knowledge, experience and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, digital channels and technologies, conversation rate optimisation (CRO) practice, and looking at and quantifying the value and simplicities of supporter journeys across our portfolio for products.
Your proven experience of using SEO tools and techniques will help to deliver improvements in performance, increase rates of optimisation, conversion and engagement, including A/B and multivariate testing.
You have experience of pulling data from internal and external data sources such as GA4, Brandwatch and Cision, and visualizing the data to educate stakeholders. You also have excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate data insights to all stakeholders.

In northern France we operate year round from Calais, providing warm clothing, shoes, shelter, services, and assistance to refugees living in appalling conditions.
Across the UK we collect and distribute clothes and other essential items, and provide social support and interaction including language lessons, sport and music workshops. We also help with vital access to legal, medical and educational services. We are a community with the shared goals of creating a just asylum system, and a fair and welcoming society for all refugees.
Our work involves organising successful campaigns against racist UK government policies, such as the Rwanda plan and the use of barracks as accommodation for people seeking sanctuary.
All of Care4Calais' operations are supported by a small, dedicated staff team, who supervise large volunteer teams to provide critical support to asylum seekers and people on the move in both the UK and France.
About the role
The UK Operations team provides essential psychosocial support to people seeking safety through practical services; such as running distributions, delivering English classes and drop ins, as well as activities to promote wellbeing such as trips and sports activities.
The UK Field Operations Manager will be responsible for managing our operations in London, working as part of the UK Field Operations Team to support large teams of grassroots volunteers to provide essential support to people seeking safety.
You will need to onboard and motivate volunteers through continuous engagement and support to ensure that proper safety procedures for effective distributions and activities are in place, well communicated, and consistently applied. The performance of each region and team needs to be regularly assessed and action taken to build capacity and skills where needed. Successful Field Operations Managers will build networks with local charities, community groups and Local Authorities to help grow and develop the operations of the local Care4Calais volunteer teams. A key part of this role will include contributing to the planning and delivery of parliamentary activity, including the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Motor Neurone Disease (MND), parliamentary events and inquiries, while also supporting campaigning activity and ensuring high-quality briefings and communications that strengthen the MND Association’s voice and impact.
You will be working in an exciting and fast-paced environment, balancing priorities and responding to emerging political developments with focus and judgement. As an effective communicator you will engage with senior parliamentary and government stakeholders, drafting clear and persuasive briefings, and identifying opportunities to influence change for the MND Community.

Hybrid working expectations: London office attendance at least one day per week, in line with any in-person meetings. Able to attend Parliament regularly and at short notice, and available for occasional evening and weekend work.

Using insight, storytelling and data to deepen relationships and grow income, you'll develop meaningful supporter journeys that recruit, retain and inspire generosity. Working closely with colleagues across communications, operations and programmes, you'll help strengthen collaboration across teams, ensuring day-to-day activity and processes support the shared goal of bringing Church Army's mission to life.
You'll also line manage the Individual Giving Officer, providing guidance and support, as well as supervising and supporting the Trusts Consultant and Legacy Consultant. This could be a perfect development opportunity for someone looking to build or grow their leadership experience.

What you’ll be doing:
Leading on all operational aspects of these income streams and inputting into strategy with the Senior Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager, you will have responsibility for growing the Trust’s legacy, mid-level and major donor fundraising.
With support from colleagues across the department and wider Trust, you’ll provide stewardship to a portfolio of mid and high-value relationships, cultivate and secure new donors, and act as a champion for this crucial area of work across the organisation.

You will be an experienced fundraiser with outstanding communication skills and strong technical legacy skills and knowledge, as well as in-depth knowledge and track record of success in growing a major donor programme.
