Job description

BAME Carers Breaks Development Officer

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Salary: £24,741 FTE for 37 hours per week (£12,370 pro-rata)

We are looking for a development officer to work with BAME communities to co-produce carers breaks that meet their needs.  You will be responsible for developing creative solutions to the barriers that stop carers from these communities accessing high quality breaks from their caring role.  You need to have a strong understanding of caring in BAME communities as well as experience of working with people to codesign and deliver services.  

An ability to influence and encourage services and individuals to embrace difference and make positive changes is essential.  

A good standard of IT Skills is required, including use of databases, MS office and the internet. 

You will be required to travel across Hertfordshire, so you will need the ability to travel independently, have access to a car and have a valid driving license.
