Job description

The Together Trust is one of the North West’s leading charities, offering individual care, support, and education to hundreds of children, young people, and adults each year. We are a not-for-profit charitable trust, so every penny goes back into benefiting the people that we support.

We are seeking Community Support Workers (Positive Behaviour Support),to join a new short break residential home in Wythenshawe. Working within the residential home and out in the community, we aim to upskill and increase the resilience of children and their families.

The residential home benefits from excellent public transport links and convenient access to community resources. Successful candidates will receive extensive training and on-the-job coaching from a well-qualified clinical team, Registered Manager, and Senior management team. Additionally, staff employed within the service will have the opportunity to receive formal Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training and coaching from qualified behavioural specialists.

Working Pattern – 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly over five days. Weekend working will be required.

Salary – £21,283 (£10.91) rising to £23,412 (£12.01) from April 2024.

25% pay enhancement for all weekend hours worked.

Location – Wythenshawe, Manchester.

We are looking to recruit more than one individual and part time working could be considered.

In most cases this will mean that the individual needs to show that they have been ''ordinarily resident'' in particular countries (including the UK) at least 3 years before the start of the apprenticeship.
