This is an exciting opportunity to invest in the lives of autistic young people (aged 9-19). You will work in our Aspire Team to further develop specialist youth work provision in Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire, supporting young people’s emotional well-being and helping them to overcome challenge and develop social skills. You will join our team of youth workers and volunteers to develop and deliver weekly social groups, shared interest groups, one-to-one work, family support, school-based alternative education, and trips and residential experiences. The normal working week will be 37.5 hours (5 days), there is a need for flexibility. The role requires regular evening work. Part-time hours will be considered, minimum 22.5 hours (3 days).

Duties include:

• Build positive relationships with autistic children and young people through different programme activities.
• Support individuals making the transition from primary to secondary school, and from secondary school to post 16/18 options, giving them the best possible opportunity of staying in education, employment or training that is fulfilling and helps them reach their potential.
• Work with others in the team to expand the provision and develop new youth clubs in specific geographical areas based on identified needs.
• Create opportunities for children and young people to develop life skills, in response to the needs identified by participants themselves, their families and others, through courses and one-off sessions, with individuals and small groups.
• Facilitate the exploration of young people’s values and beliefs thereby encouraging their personal, social and spiritual development.
• Contribute to partnership working with external organisations and agencies in developing effective youth work provision.
• Support the recruitment, training and management of teams of volunteers and young leaders to act as positive role models who can support the delivery of youth clubs.
• Be a face-to-face contact with the public, representing Romsey Mill to individuals and organisations and reflecting the Christian values of the organisation to those whom the organisation serves.

The Advice and Representation team plays a vital role in championing student voices and ensuring they receive the support they need throughout their university experience. The team provides independent academic and welfare advice, supports democratic processes, and facilitates student representation across the institution. By working closely with elected officers, Student Voice Leaders, and key stakeholders, the team ensures students are empowered to influence policies, shape their education, and access essential guidance when facing challenges. The team also works to create inclusive representation structures that represent the diverse needs of all student communities.

Role

The role ensures students receive high-quality, independent support and have a strong voice in shaping their university experience. The role oversees both the advice service and student representation structures, managing a team that delivers casework support, representation initiatives, and democratic engagement. This includes supporting elected officers, overseeing student feedback mechanisms, running democratic processes, and ensuring effective student advocacy within the university.

Main Responsibilities

· Ensure that all the teams’ activities are aligned, preventing overlaps and ensuring a cohesive approach to the Union's goals. This includes integrating officer priorities, team-specific projects, and broader Union objectives into a single, unified plan.

· Ensure the delivery of independent, student-centered advice services on academic and welfare issues, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and confidentiality standards. This includes the post holder providing advice and advocacy services.

· Track and analyse advice and representation trends, feeding insights to inform wider SU and University strategies.

· Deliver proactive academic advice, including running proactive advice stalls and supporting student leaders to deliver peer support.

· Oversee the delivery of wellbeing initiatives across a range of issues, including mental health, food poverty, period poverty, and drugs/alcohol, in collaboration with relevant departments as appropriate.

· Maintain and develop the BSU Essentials food bank, ensuring a smooth operation, food safety monitoring, collecting data on usage, encouraging donations, and providing additional support information to students.

· Support the design and run the implementation of the Student Voice Leaders (SVL) programme, ensuring they have appropriate training, support and guidance.

· Attend School Education and Student Experience Committees to support Student Voice Leaders in their duties.

· Develop and implement representation structures for Postgraduate Taught (PGT) and Postgraduate Research (PGR) students, ensuring their concerns and needs are appropriately represented at all levels of the Union.

· Coordinate student voice initiatives for key student groups with unique challenges, ensuring their voices are included and represented in key decision-making processes. This may include commuting students, matures students, students with disabilities.

· Support elected officers by providing relevant student feedback, training, and guidance to help them represent students effectively within the University and beyond.

· Support the Communities Officer and Representation Projects Coordinator in ensuring termly forums for student groups, ensuring representation and inclusion for those groups needing most support.

· Contribute to the development of the SU’s Big Plan, overseeing the delivery of relevant projects and ensuring the team plays an active role in its implementation.

· Ensure effective and inclusive student engagement with advice services and representation, focusing on underrepresented and diverse student communities.

Communication

Staff Management

· Ensure any HR issues relating to staff members are dealt with promptly and reported to the HR department, seeking guidance when appropriate. 

· Be an active member of the Management team and provide constructive input into activities which fall outside of the remit of the role.

Hand in hand with leading fundraising, you will oversee the Communications team, supporting, developing and monitoring the communications strategy, associated budget, resources, systems, processes and operations. About you
We are looking for someone to join the charity’s Senior Leadership Team who will bring experience from their past successes and provide inspirational strategic leadership and direction to the fundraising and communications functions in support of the Dementia Adventure business plan, charitable mission and objectives. The successful applicant will have a strong, successful track record of fundraising and/or other forms of income generation in the charity sector, including management, with proven experience in meeting financial and non-financial targets. You should be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts and grant givers, corporates, major donors and other individuals. In addition, you should possess a strong understanding of marketing and communication principles and practices, as well as digital marketing and social media. PSPA is the only national charity offering support and information to people living with the rare, incurable, degenerative brain diseases called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). Our purpose is to create a better future for everyone affected by PSP and CBD.  We provide much needed support to people and their families living with these devastating neurological conditions. We also invest in research to deepen our understanding of the conditions with the goal of reducing the time to accurate diagnosis and discovering treatments and an eventual cure. Since 2024 we have increased our investment in awareness raising of these relatively unknown diseases.

As HR Project Admin (Flexible Workforce), you will play a key role in supporting the national flexible staffing model. The Role: Family Services Manager

As our Family Services Manager, you will provide operational and strategic oversight of all service delivery at Home-Start Lambeth. You will be instrumental in ensuring our services deliver real value to the families we support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Leadership: Oversee and develop service delivery, ensuring strategic and operational priorities are met.
• Team Management: Line manage and support our dedicated Family Coordinators and Volunteering Officer, fostering a culture of learning and development.

About the Role

Gaddum is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to provide maternity cover for a key leadership role. This is a time-limited opportunity to contribute to the delivery and evaluation of one of Greater Manchester’s most ambitious adult social care transformation programmes: the Accelerating Reform Fund (ARF). In GM, our projects focus on improving the identification and support for unpaid carers through the hospital discharge pathway and improving community-based care arrangements via Shared Lives schemes.

As Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining delivery momentum, nurturing established relationships, and supporting the system-wide monitoring and evaluation of the programme. You’ll bring excellent coordination, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation skills, ensuring that business as usual continues smoothly and that Gaddum plays its full role in enabling the GM system to capture and evidence the impact of the ARF.

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) provides expert oversight and support across the ARF projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective delivery. As per their job title, they project manage the infrastructure element of the entire GM programme.

They coordinate efforts across various sectors, manage stakeholder engagement, and are responsible for the integrated approach to risk management, data governance, and financial oversight. The role is accountable to Gaddum’s CEO, and reports to them. It has been central in ensuring the successful execution of GM's vision and objectives for the ARF.

Key Responsibilities

Continued and Strong Programme Delivery
• Maintain oversight and coordination of ARF activities on behalf of Gaddum, ensuring that timelines, risks, and communications are effectively managed.
• Chair or coordinate relevant meetings, workshops, and learning sessions with partners across health, social care, VCSE, and lived experience networks.
• Support the continuation of established coproduction approaches and ensure that lived experience remains central to the delivery of the programme.
• Maintain key project documentation including risk registers, action logs, and shared work plans.
• Provide line management to the Project Administrator, ensuring effective consortium secretariat and communication functions are upheld.
• Provide regular updates to the project’s Senior Lead within the Adult Social Care Transformation Team in NHS GM Integrated Care.
• Oversee the work of the ARF Lived Experience Coordinator (line managed by the Engagement and Coproduction Service Manager) to ensure this workstream is effectively aligned with the overall ARF project strategy and timeline.

Evaluation and Impact
• Lead, as the Greater Manchester system infrastructure, the development and delivery of an end-of-programme learning and evaluation event, currently planned for March – April 2026.
• Contribute to regular reporting cycles and ensure Gaddum’s role in evaluation is clearly communicated to stakeholders and commissioners.
• Act as a lead point of contact for evaluation activities, both locally and nationally, working closely with Ipsos, the national evaluation partner.
• Support system partners to engage meaningfully in the development of the GM Theory of Change, ensuring relevant data and insights are gathered and shared.
• Coordinate data collation and reporting in collaboration with the consortium, supporting the integration of data systems where needed, and ensuring alignment with governance and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationships
• Sustain the strong and positive relationships with local authorities, health and care organisations, the VCSE sector, and carers’ networks.
• Provide advice, challenge, and coordination to ensure consistent and inclusive engagement across the partnership.
• Escalate emerging issues or risks to the CEO and consortium where necessary, supporting collaborative problem-solving.

Financial and Contractual Support
• Work closely with Manchester City Council’s finance leads and Gaddum’s internal team to track spend, support monitoring returns, and ensure financial accountability.
• Contract manage and support the appointed creative agency leading on our Shared Lives marketing and communications campaign.
Other key tasks & responsibilities of the role
• Line Management: Supervise the Project Administrator, ensuring they provide effective secretariat responsibilities for the consortium.
• Risk Management: Keep stakeholders well-informed about risks, strategies, and progress. With the consortium, co-design and manage risk register elements, providing rapid escalation of issues to the CEO and consortium, developing solutions where necessary.
• Troubleshooting: Take all reasonable steps to enable system partners to identify barriers and develop solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish and maintain ongoing feedback loops, making necessary adjustments to the project’s approach based on stakeholder input and real-world outcomes.
• Coordination of reporting: Work closely with SCIE and GM ARF stakeholders to ensure data integration and reporting, aligning regional data
with national datasets and performance metrics.
• Contracting and Compliance: Ensure adherence to contracting and compliance requirements, maintaining robust monitoring and reporting systems
• Systems Change Facilitation: Lead on systems change initiatives, ensuring that all project components are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of the ARF programme.

Who are we?

The Global Foundations & Institutional Donors team is comprised of 12 colleagues working with either Institutional Donors or Foundations based in Copenhagen, Berlin, Brussels, Geneva and Kyiv. DRC funds come from a variety of sources - institutional donors such as the European Commission, UN agencies, and bilateral humanitarian and development funding envelopes from major donor countries, but increasingly also foundations - both Danish and International. Together with the rest of the department, the GFID team is working to increase DRC’s capacity and ambition to scope, expand, deepen, and strengthen partnerships and fundraising activities.
 

About the job

As Senior Partnership Advisor you will be part of the Global Foundation and Institutional Donors section (GFID) working directly with the Head of Global Foundation and Institutional Donors, colleagues based in HQ, DRC Representations in Geneva, Brussels and Berlin, and regionally with the Regional Business Development Coordinators. Your overall responsibility will be to support DRC’s capacity strengthening to maintain and improve donor relationships and fundraising efforts.

The Senior Partnership Advisor oversees the engagement and fundraising efforts focusing primarily on FCDO and the UK-based foundations, potentially there would also be some coverage of non-core donors like Irish Aid, Jersey Aid etc. You are tasked with undertaking analyses, elaborating donor intelligence, to inform and advise senior management and colleagues about partnership development as well as fundraising opportunities.
 

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

Strategy

• Support design and advancement of the global donor engagement strategy based on the FCDOs’ donor trends and priorities, (and relevant non-core donors).
• Mapping and scoping of UK-based foundations with the support of the wider GFID team.
• Lead the development of donor-specific engagement action plans for the FCDO and relevant foundations and steer their implementation.

Partnership Engagement

• Lead on a strong and strategic partnership between DRC and FCDO at capital level and UK-based Foundations and engage proactively with FCDO (and relevant non-core donors) to address challenges and opportunities related to DRC’s partnership at global level and inform/advise ROs/COs accordingly. Develop tools and guidance to support engagement with FCDO
• Provide support and expertise to DRC country and regional operations on the partnership.
• Represent DRC in dialogues with core donors on regulatory frameworks and actively participate in relevant events and coordination mechanisms with peer organisations or other networks and platforms.

Donor intelligence and knowledge management

• Monitor and analyse relevant trends and donor intelligence and provide strategic advice on possible impact and ways to adapt across all levels of the organization for FCDO, relevant UK foundations and /or non-core donors).
• Develop qualitative and quantitative analyses to feed into donor trends and global donor analyses, lessons learned, and other dissemination documents.

Partnership Management – externally and internally

• For FCDO funding, develop tools, platforms, and internal workflows for efficient strategic donor compliance (this includes maintaining DRC Insite donor pages, updating and publishing internal guidance tools such as Donorpedias, fact sheets etc.).
• Strengthen capacities of Grants Management Unit staff on FCDO policies and guidelines.
   

Occasional travel will be expected to DRC HQ, DRC representations or DRC country offices

About you

To excel in this role, you will have natural communication and social skills, including networking and the ability to influence. You are comfortable navigating internal stakeholders horizontally and vertically, and representing DRC externally with donors, peer organisations and in other forums.

You have strong knowledge of FCDO’s structure and funding priorities, including regulatory frameworks and contracting. This role calls for someone who is both a “thinker” and a “doer” - an ability to work on strategic-level analyses while being detailed as well as being results and service-oriented.
