Job description

Homelink is a friendly respite service based in Twickenham, providing day care for local people to give carers a regular break from their caring role.

We are expanding our service to include a new Carer Support Coordinator who will develop, plan and deliver comprehensive information, advice and support to local carers of older people.

We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual with a proven track record of providing support and advice to a range of people. Applicants must have an understanding of the issues facing carers and older people, particularly in relation to dementia. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a positive approach to team and partnership work. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Please see job description and person specification below for full details of the role. Applicants are asked to submit a CV and a supporting letter of no more than 2 sides of A4, clearly outlining how they meet the criteria in the person specification.

The closing date for completed applications is 10.00 a.m. on Monday 23rd March 2020.

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 30th March 2020.

We encourage applications from all applicants who meet the person specification irrespective of age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or race.
