Job description
Supporter Giving and Marketing Officer

We are looking for a Supporter Giving and Marketing Officer to develop and implement engaging and innovative supporter marketing communications in line with the Income and Engagement Strategy and in accordance with the vision, promise and values of the organisation.

You will develop a range of communications and donor journeys using all channels to increase income, engagement, loyalty and life-time value, and work with the wider team to implement key areas of strategy and take responsibility for producing plans, budgets and forecasts.

Supporter Giving and Marketing Officer Responsibilities:

- Implement key areas of the Supporter Giving strategy to recruit, retain, develop and engage donors using a range of techniques including mail, venue, door to door, online, email, phone, SMS, DRTV and social channels.
- Ensure that activity works effectively as part of our overall giving and marketing strategy.
- Create and support business cases for new fundraising methods including ROI, supporter acquisition cost and channel payback models.
- Work across the organisation to maximize income by implementing seamless stewardship plans that will deliver an excellent, engaging and targeted supporter experience to individual donors.
- Innovate and make changes to plans throughout the year to ensure annual budgets are achieved.
- Produce quarterly reviews and monthly budget reforecasts of allocated areas of the budget.
- Research the charity market to identify trends, opportunities and threats within the sector and how they could impact CLIC Sargent, including competitor analysis and research.
- Work with agencies and suppliers to deliver agreed plans and campaigns; including creative agencies, printers, media buyers, telemarketing agencies and external agencies used for Payroll Giving, Door to Door and Venue -Fundraising and any other new methods
- Ensure all activities comply with appropriate legal, regulatory and fundraising good practice requirements and with CLIC Sargent policies and standards.

Supporter Giving and Marketing Officer Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience of implementing successful direct marketing acquisition, retention and engagement campaigns across all channels including digital. They will be skilled in managing budget and external suppliers as well as internal stakeholders. They will be expected to be proactive and work effectively as a team. They will need excellent analytical skills and to have worked with databases before.

Location: Flexible

Job type: Full Time, Temporary (10 months)

Hours: 35 per week

Salary: £25,219 to £28,372 (outside London); £26,585 to £29,948 (London)
