We have an exciting opportunity to join our thriving and committed Community and Membership Fundraising team. Church (Corps) and Community Fundraising Officer is a new role, which is responsible for supporting and equipping Salvation Army churches and centres across the UK to fundraise in their local community to support the mission of The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army has 620 churches and community centres, which work at the heart of communities, serving the most vulnerable people, across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Alongside the locally driven operations, The Salvation Army operates centrally co-ordinated and managed social services, including residential programmes for homeless people, residential detox centres, and refuges for victims of domestic violence, and safe houses and services for the victims and survivors of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. You will play a key role in equipping and supporting Salvation Army churches to fundraise to support some of the most excluded people and communities in the UK.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in church-based and community fundraising, has strengths in inspiring others to act, is able to generate and implement new ideas, and is able to work independently using their own initiative.
This is a permanent position based partly at home and partly at your local Salvation Army office.

Community Fundraising Manager

If somebody is involved in a serious incident or suddenly taken ill, speed and time are of the essence. Giving a patient the best chance of survival, our Air Ambulance crew effectively take the A&E department to the scene of the emergency.
About the Role
As the Community Fundraising Manager, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships within our local communities to drive fundraising initiatives. You will lead a passionate team and work closely with volunteers, businesses, and community groups to raise vital funds and awareness for our life-saving services.
Your main role will be to ensure effective delivery of the community fundraising strategy in relation to income generation from third party events, collections and community groups on a local level, leveraging LNAA’s initiatives and programmes, building strong relationships with supporters and recruiting new support to leverage maximum returns from fundraising activities across the designated geographic area.

About the role
This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s community fundraising and trade revenues (target of £266,000 in 2024) and building significant engagement with community supporters and fundraisers. You will manage a committed team of two people in the Community and Trade team.

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure all recording, banking and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity (finance, data and marketing and communications) and in accordance with current laws and regulations.
• Record all community and trade income and thank community donors and supporters as per the agreed process.
• Record supporter and event/product specific information.
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to produce regular feedback reports and analysis on specific community products and overall revenue.
Wider fundraising
• Support company and corporate partnerships that utilise community and trade fundraising.
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop merchandise and trade income opportunities.
• Manage merchandise supplier relationships and internal and external stock levels.
Working across the organisation
• Work with the Fundraising Team and wider organisation to develop an engaging and rewarding volunteering strategy across the charity.

Phyllis Tuckwell provides supportive and end of life care for people living with an advanced or terminal illness. Based in Farnham and Guildford, we serve a population of 550,000 across West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire. We are currently building a new Hospice, so it is a very exciting time to be part of our team. This Community Fundraiser role will play an important part in enhancing the support we can give to our community as they fundraise for us not only in support of the upcoming Capital Appeal but also to continue to provide the current and ongoing care to our patients.

Come and join our Community Fundraising team! I have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Community Fundraiser within our Income Generation team. This energizing role will see you supporting individuals and groups, within our local community, to organise their own events and fundraise for our vital care. It’s a fun and varied role and no two weeks are the same, so you’ll need to bring lots of energy to the position! One day you might be supporting someone to open their garden or hold an afternoon tea and the next you’ll be dressing up and joining the team to deliver our Reindeer Run’s at local schools. There’s also the space for you to think creatively and bring new fundraising ideas and campaigns to our community fundraising calendar.
I am looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is great at communicating and confident at building relationships. You’ll also need to have excellent presenting skills to motivate and inspire our supporters.

With a fleet of minibuses specially adapted to assist people with mobility equipment or additional mobility needs, People to Places delivers high-quality services aimed at improving social inclusion and accessibility. In addition, we also provide Shopmobility services in Windsor and Maidenhead town centres, this service provides the loan of wheelchairs and mobility scooters to people with limited mobility, to help them shop and access leisure and commercial facilities within the area.
We’ve been fundraising since 1988, but this newly created role allows you to consolidate our past successes, significantly diversifying and enhancing the quality and value of our supporter base.
As a senior manager in the organisation, this post gives you the opportunity to develop our support for local people who are lonely, isolated and with little or no mobility. Therefore, you will contribute to enhancing the organisation, as well as playing a critical fundraising role.
You are ambitious, with the drive and expertise across a range of fundraising activities. So, you will have:
