Manage all new donor streams for the Trust, including mail, email, regular giving, mid-value supporters, and legacy prospects, while delivering multi-channel campaigns and creating strong welcome journeys. Convert one-off donors into regular givers, ensure smooth transition to long-term stewardship, and develop strategies to grow legacy and in-memory giving.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Develop and implement the Trust’s strategy across regular giving, one of donors, mid value and legacy pledgers to acquire and steward new donors. Working with the other Individual Giving Manager and in consultation with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
2. Prepare and monitor the annual income and expenditure budget with support from the Head of Fundraising.
3. Responsible for delivering existing integrated campaigns spanning direct-mail, partially addressed mail, inserts, telephone acquisition and digital channels against the agreed schedules, targets and budgets.
4. Work closely with the Database Manager (and relevant agencies) on criteria for data selections, data extractions and supply.
5. Measure attrition in key acquisition groups as well as other key metrics on an ongoing basis and develop strategies to reactivate and mitigate against donor attrition.
6. Work with a creative agency on campaigns across all Individual Giving streams, testing and adapting regularly to optimise results.
7. Work with the other Individual Giving Manager focused on retention, Database Manager and the appointed fulfilment house to ensure that supporters are managed to the highest level of donor care standards and GDPR guidelines.
8. Continue to develop the regular giving acquisition proposition to grow each segment of supporters and negate attrition.
9. Maximise Gift Aid income from the acquisition appeals.
10. Working with Legacy Administration team lead on legacy marketing.
11. Remain current on developments to GDPR, especially to consent and ensure all campaigns comply with those guidelines.
12. As appropriate, to support and participate in any fundraising event organised by the Trust.
13. Undertake other tasks as appropriate as directed by the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

The Outrunners are a running and movement charity based in Hackney, on a mission to empower young people through movement. We deliver free, fun, sociable, youth‑led running and movement sessions for 8–18 year olds every week - during term time and holidays. But we’re about more than just running. We’re a small charity but we pack a mighty punch. Hosted a free Girls’ Festival for 100+ ethnically diverse young girls, allowing them to try running sessions, creative classes and yoga experiences in a safe and empowering environment.
Hosted free training academies for ethnically diverse women and young people aged 16-21 to train for their very first half or full marathons! We offered physical, emotional and logistical support throughout their training journey and cheered on every single one of them as they ran either the Hackney Half or the London Marathon under the Outrunners name. Since programme launch, we have worked with over 250 people in our Academies.
Took diverse groups of young people to races and events, such as Hackney School run and Black to the Trails.
Offered personalised mentoring to several of our young people who were struggling with school or life.
Expanded the career horizons of young people by offering them a free work experience opportunity with our partner brands.
What do we want?
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser for a strategic and hands-on role who loves working in a small, ambitious charity and wants to help shape the next stage of growth at The Outrunners (current annual income circa £350k).
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead on income generation, with a primary focus on trusts and foundations, while growing a more diverse and sustainable income mix through corporate partnerships, community fundraising and individual giving.

This is a new opportunity to develop the role of Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to lead the identification, development and submission of new funding proposals, and to lead on relationship management with new and potential investors. You will work closely with the technical and operation teams.
About You
Bringing your experience of funding development to ENN, you will be ready to jump in and progress work quickly to capitalise on critical time sensitive funding opportunities. Salary: £36,437.07 to £44,534.19 per annum | Salary is offered in line with our pay framework and typically starts at the entry point of the band. Salary increases are considered annually and are subject to our appraisal and performance review process.
Job Purpose:
This is an important role in MSF UK’s growing Legacy Fundraising team, requiring diverse skills, knowledge and behaviours including understanding of marketing techniques as well as experience in managing process-led business administration tasks.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Legacy team to help deliver MSF UK’s Legacy strategy and support the growth of one of the charity’s largest income streams. You will be an integral part of a high-performing fundraising team at an international humanitarian cause during an exciting period of growth, with opportunities to broaden your experience in both Legacy marketing and administration.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, this role has a dual focus in supporting on Legacy marketing activity and also ensuring an effective and organised Legacy administration for the organisation. You will be communicating with supporters who are interested in leaving gifts in their wills, or are executors of estates where MSF is a beneficiary. Providing an excellent quality and accuracy of support and information by email, telephone and post is therefore essential. You will also be assisting in the delivery of marketing campaigns to recruit new legacy supporters, supporting on campaign reporting and analysis, and contributing to an excellent ongoing experience for those who have already committed to leaving a gift in their will.

We're recruiting 2 x Individual Giving Officer roles to join the team.
As an Individual Giving Officer, you will support the Senior Individual Giving Officer in generating and delivering inspiring and motivating marketing and stewardship communications - as well as leading on delegated campaigns and projects, to build engagement with supporters and drive long term support for Mind.
You will deliver marketing campaigns from beginning to end - from writing briefs and working with agencies and internal teams on media, creative, data, print, production, and fulfilment, to collating results and using data and insight to optimise activity and deliver a brilliant supporter experience.
You'll be joining a team of friendly and passionate fundraisers, and you'll be supported to develop your skills and personal development plans in a wellbeing focused environment.
The Individual Giving team is a part of the wider Mass Engagement team, and you will play a pivot role in helping the team to reach and exceed their target of raising over £23 million, so that Mind can fight for timely access to great quality care for all.

The Role

The Person
We are looking for someone with proven experience in an income generation role. You will ideally have knowledge and understanding of donor motivations and high value fundraising principles. Experience in developing donor journeys, campaigns or funding proposals would also be desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are vital in this role, along with the ability to coach and lead a small team. Previous management experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
You must be experienced working to targets, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. As Senior Relationship Fundraiser you will inform key decisions, so the ability to analyse data to is essential.
