We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work Monday - Wednesday. This is essentially a job share with our existing Membership Officer who works Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays. Together, they will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. Reporting to our Office and Events Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the administrative functions that support the smooth running and ongoing success of the organisation around membership.
This is an interesting and varied role that acts as a first 'point of contact’ for the people we work with (such as Member Institutions, Registrants and queries from members of the public), as well as managing the administrative aspect of memberships, such as setting up new Registrants on our CRM system. The role also involves longer term project work such as overseeing the CPD audit and improving and growing membership processes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with previous administrative experience who are keen to join our small and friendly staff team.

At our North West London Home, we are recruiting a Head of Kennels who will share our compassion and commitment for animal welfare to provide front line leadership to our team of Kennel and Animal Care staff and volunteers. We care for up to fifteen dogs on site, in addition to dogs placed into foster homes. Our Head of Kennels is responsible for managing the day-to-day smooth running of our kennels and maintaining the wellbeing of all dogs in our care, so that their individual physical and psychological needs are catered for adequately, and in line with our standards and ethics.
This is a high profile and hugely important role for Mayhew as our Head of Kennels oversees each dog's journey through Mayhew from in-take to assessment and then to rehoming. Working with staff and volunteers across the Home, foster carers, adopters, other charities and rescues and members of the public, our Head of Kennels is instrumental in ensuring that our dogs have all they need - from feeding, exercising, cleaning, and socialising to finding their perfect forever home. Leading a small team, our Head of Kennels is responsible for managing all aspects of our dog in-takes, adoptions, fostering and Pet Refuge (read more here), managing our capacity to ensure we help as many dogs as we can and ensuring our dogs are rehomed to a home suited to their individual needs as soon as possible.

We are looking for a capable, proactive person to support the programme from initial mobilisation through to an eventual large-scale trial. The Senior Programme Support Officer will support the Head of Programmes to develop, mobilise and deliver Building Futures. About the Role
Humanists International has another separate entity based in the US. This role will be a part of the UK operations team but will collaborate with the US finance team occasionally when it’s required, for example, during the audit period. Both UK and US finance teams are managed by the same Director of Finance and Operations who is based in London.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can provide excellent finance and administrative support to the small, predominantly home-based team. We’re seeking someone who is personable, highly organised, has attention to detail and is keen to take initiative and learn new skills. Onboarding training will be provided, but we would like you to demonstrate transferable skills.

Main purpose and scope of Role
This role will play key to engaging with and supporting PTAs across the region, as well as a variety of stakeholders such as schools, parent groups, local authorities, potential sponsors or supporters and other organisations as our suite of programmes grows. This role initially focuses on the following, but is subject to change as programmes are launched or evolved:
PTA Programme
- Growing our network of PTAs.
- Supporting PTAs through leadership transition to minimise PTAs closing unnecessarily.
- Organising gatherings of PTAs to enhance the PTA community.
- Providing training and awareness sessions for PTAs.
- Providing community support to PTAs during peak activity periods online or by phone.
- Helping schools establish PTAs and supporting them during their first year through our new PTA Launchpad programme.
- Hosting and co-ordinating virtual webinars/meetings to demonstrate the value of PTA membership and the support available.
Parent Programme
- Raising awareness of Parentkind’s growing programme of support for parents, directly or indirectly through schools or other partners.
- Building relationships with parent groups to support engagement with our growing suite of parent support opportunities.
- Organising events for parents as part of our Parent Programme.
- Building relationships with regional stakeholders to support Parent Programme activities.
Other Programmes/Services
- Encouraging uptake or (when charged) sales of our broad and growing suite of programmes and services.
- Identifying and engaging with local and regional partners for our range of programmes.
- Feeding into programme design.
Wider Stakeholder Engagement:
- Attending appropriate conferences and educational meetings across the region.
- Developing relationships with key local authorities and individuals so they advocate our services and the benefits of our programmes
- Developing relationships with MATs so that they can advocate Parentkind and the benefits of its programmes.
- Identify any opportunities for external funding to from LA’s, Companies, or other funders with the support of our fundraising team.
Organisational Effectiveness:
- Create and implement operational annual plans and schedules to support our regional targets, ensuring that time specific milestones for their delivery are met.
- Regularly report on the health of our campaigns within your region, through identified KPIs and organisational targets.
- Ensure all knowledge and information is recorded, processed and maintained according to good administration practice.
General
- To keep abreast of relevant educational policy and legislation affecting our key audiences.
- To be flexible within the broad remit of the post.
- To undertake other duties as reasonably requested by the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team.
- To be self-servicing.
- To attend and participate in our performance, development, and training programmes.
- To abide by organisational policies, codes of conduct and practices.
- To be responsible for the health, safety, welfare of self, and other colleagues.
- Participating in and, as necessary, assisting with our national events and conferences.

JOB TITLE: Fundraising Marketing Manager
DEPARTMENT: Fundraising
LOCATION: Based at Challengers Head Office in Guildford, GU1 1TU with flexible working options across our site in Farnham and home/remote working.

SALARY RANGE: £29-35k (starting salary £29-33k) pro rata for 0.8FTE (28 hrs p/wk across 4 or 5 days)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a central role in a multi-disciplinary fundraising team committed to transforming the lives of disabled children and their families. After a year of fundraising growth, we are ambitious to achieve more and are looking for a brilliant marketer to help us get to know our supporter audiences better and lead the creation of engaging, inspiring campaigns and materials to drive engagement and income generation.
You’ll be great if you have:
- Experience in leading campaigns aimed at raising funds and working with teams to align marketing activities with fundraising goals.
- Experience in developing compelling messaging and design assets for various channels, including social media, email and print.
- Knowledge on how to effectively monitor campaign performance and analyse data, using these insights to support future strategies.
- A background in fundraising or wider charity comms would be ideal (but not essential).

Phyllis Tuckwell provides supportive and end of life care for people living with an advanced or terminal illness. Based in Farnham and Guildford, we serve a population of 550,000 across West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire. We are currently building a new Hospice, so it is a very exciting time to be part of our team. This Community Fundraiser role will play an important part in enhancing the support we can give to our community as they fundraise for us not only in support of the upcoming Capital Appeal but also to continue to provide the current and ongoing care to our patients.
Community Fundraiser
37 hours per week
Salary - £27- £29,000 per annum WTE (based on 37 hours a week)
Come and join our Community Fundraising team! I have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Community Fundraiser within our Income Generation team. This energizing role will see you supporting individuals and groups, within our local community, to organise their own events and fundraise for our vital care. It’s a fun and varied role and no two weeks are the same, so you’ll need to bring lots of energy to the position! One day you might be supporting someone to open their garden or hold an afternoon tea and the next you’ll be dressing up and joining the team to deliver our Reindeer Run’s at local schools. There’s also the space for you to think creatively and bring new fundraising ideas and campaigns to our community fundraising calendar.
I am looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is great at communicating and confident at building relationships. You’ll also need to have excellent presenting skills to motivate and inspire our supporters.

- Have experience working within a fundraising environment, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and be adaptable to changing demands on your time.
- Be a natural people person with strong communication skills to engage with a variety of audiences and ages on the phone, face to face and in written comms.

- Have experience working with supporters/customers/volunteers to deliver exceptional service and support, with a solution-focused approach.
